It was a
little awkward to assemble, however first impressions were good. Came in a
brown box which is normal for products like this. It was well packaged inside so that it was
not damaged. The mattress obviously didn’t need instructions. However we struggled a little to put the cot
together I think it would be better to have letters on the sections, i.e. a little A sticker on the wood and another one
on the metal piece to attach it to. We
are used to putting together flat pack furniture so didn’t think we would have
any problems. As mentioned above we struggled with putting it together I think
that a little sticker with a’s and b’s on them so you know what goes to what
would help and be less frustrating. Good size, however it’s very tall. Whilst we have found this useful as we have a
3 year old so they are not able to lean in, others may find this annoying as
you have to get up out of bed in order to see the baby. Yes easy to fit beside the bed. Again good
size mattress and very good fit in the cot. Good thickness to it as well. The crib and mattress seemed very
comfortable. Good quality hasn’t marked
or scratched anywhere like many other cots and cribs do. I think it does offer
value for money, as far as cribs go. I would consider purchasing, however if this was my first the height may
put me off for the pure fact that you have to get up in order to see the baby –
many cribs have slotted sides or mosses baskets are shorter so you can see in.
I like that it folds up so that you can put it to one side so that you can have
more space in the day or even move it more easily so it’s the size of a crib
but the versatility of a mosses basket.
I would recommend and would highlight the height. I personally
really like it, it was a little tricky to assemble but once we had done that it
was simple to fold and put to one side.
As mentioned whilst the height of the crib could put some off as we have
a keen 3 year old this was really handy as he wasn’t able to lean in, like he
was with a mosses basket. It is also
very sturdy so that when he stood on the bottom it held his weight. I like that it has breathable mesh sides
however the material (quite rightly) is thick and therefore you are unable to
see the baby in the crib unless you stand up which may put some people off as
you can’t easily see from the bed. Overall I have been really happy with the
product. Victoria Haycock – Niamh 8 Weeks

When I first
saw it I thought it was big but would last a long time due to the size so baby
would grow out of it quickly. Packaging for both items was good and there was
no damage to the crib. The instructions for the crib were a bit confusing due
to having some within the pocket of the crib and others with the delivery note
of the packaging. It wasn’t very easy to set up due to having 2 lots of
instructions, maybe having stickers on the frame to say "this way up"
or "facing out" for the ends? It did however come with the allen key to
put it together so you don’t have to go and find tools. Although you can put it
together on your own. I would say it
would be a lot easier for 2 people. The
size is quite big and quite high which I wasn’t expecting due to wanting it by
your bed. Size wise it was good but not easy to fit by the side of the
bed. If you have a bedside table and the
crib next to your bed so you can see and get to your baby you don’t have much
room to get into or out of bed. Also the height of the crib to height of your
bed you have to get out of bed to get to your baby, you can’t stick your hand in
to do anything from your bed. The mattress was a good size and it fitted the
crib well. Due to the size not many places sell that size mattress sheets so never
bothered looking for a mattress protector which if using all the time could
cause a few problems if your baby has an accident. Never bothered looking for a
mattress protector which if using all the time could cause a few problems if
your baby has an accident. Quality of both products are good and don’t think I
have any faults with either. For the
cost of both items I think it is value for money, your baby won’t grow out of
it quickly and due to guidelines of having your baby in the same room as you
for 6 months you won’t have to buy anything else before they go into their own
room. I wouldn’t buy it to use as a bedside crib due to the size and height of
the crib. Although I had to get up in the night to feed my baby I had to get
out of bed each time to do anything due to height against the bed. I would
however get it if I was to go back to work early and my son was being looked
after by family as it takes up less space than a cot so it would be easier for
them to find room to put it. Although the frame of the crib is quite big and
quite wide, I did like the fact that it was breathable all the way round and
you can see your baby through it. I have told some people about this product,
and a few people have said due to the size it would be difficult to fit into
some bedrooms. The overall experience has been good, if you have a big baby
this would last a lot longer than most other cribs or Moses basket. It is
very neutral so won’t look out of place in any bedroom. Although it’s not a
travel cot it would be fairly easy to transport if you’re staying with family
or friends for a long time as you can fold the legs and move it, baby also then
sleeps better being in the same bed. You would need a car to transport it so
not public transport and might save you buying a travel cot if it’s something
you don’t need to buy. This is what I
will be doing when I stay with family in the next few months.  Kaz Stent – Finlay 6 Weeks

It looked
contemporary, stylish and a different take on the conventional crib. Very
efficient use of space for the boxing of the crib, not too much waste
considering the size of the crib. The diagrams were very vague and the
accompanying word instructions still didn’t fully explain the construction of
the crib, especially the set-up of the legs. Due to the vague instructions it
took a couple of attempts to get the leg configuration correct. The crib
footprint was of a good size; however the leg height made the crib itself feel
much larger than expected. The crib was also quite tall and although mesh like
material, you couldn’t see our baby through it (unlike through the bars of our
own crib) this we feel is quite important, we had to get out of bed to check on
him rather than see he was ok. The mattress was a very good fit to the crib.
This was comfortable as the size is large enough to provide decent room for the
baby with plenty of growth space. The mattress also felt of good quality and
provided the baby with good support. The crib material and mattress do look and
feel quality. However the legs are just painted wood so easily damaged and
chipped. Also the leg locking mechanism is very basic and flimsy, they don’t
look of a very good quality, especially for the price. As mentioned above, the
actual wooden construction and locking mechanism are so basic which doesn’t
reflect in the price. For £100 you would expect more of an engineered product. The
quality of the breathable material of the crib felt quite unique to such a
product. Although the looks are a nice modern spin to the crib market, the
actual quality of the parts could soon tarnish and for the price it doesn’t
feel as special as you would imagine. I had high hopes initially for the
crib; the pictures looked fresh and contemporary. However after eventual
construction using the very basic instructions I was a bit surprised and
disappointed by the overall imposing size and basic quality, and also lack of
adjustability of the height certainly gave me an impression this product was
not worth £100. Another point: We were
unable to use a sensor pad under the mattress as crib was of just material
construction (no hard base for the sensor to be mounted on). Claire Hawkins –
