This product was of good quality/very tactile. It is very
nice and soft and seemed sturdy enough to handle the grasps of young ones. My
baby liked the touch of it and the choices of colours. The illustrations were
nice. Our older child could easily point and tell us what the illustrations
were and our younger child could point and we could tell them what animals were
shown. My baby really enjoyed touching it and throwing it around. It did not
get damaged when being played with either. It is stimulating for them; younger
children will need help with the story, but slightly older ones will be able to
read along as they develop. I really liked this book; colours, story, pictures
and the touch were all nice. The price is ok but maybe could have been priced a
little lower at £5.99 or £6.99. I would still consider buying it and recommend
it to others. A few other people who come through the house have looked at it
and thought it very nice. It is a very lovely product, good quality. It is appealing
to younger toddlers and slightly older children. Mary Dixon – Rosie 3 Years and Isabelle 1 Year

I thought this was very attractive, lovely presentation of
product in its box. The quality of the book is great; lovely soft material,
well made. The colours are very pretty, being of a soft pastel pallet, but my
boy seems to be more struck by bright, vibrant colours so initially needed
encouragement to look at the book with me. Sloan quite liked the illustrations
as they depicted every day scenarios which he could easily relate to, such as
brushing teeth, bath time, reading books and going to bed. Unfortunately the
book didn’t keep Sloan’s attention for long. Although he enjoyed looking at the
pictures, for his stage of development he likes to become more involved in
exploring his toys such as lifting flaps, exploring textures etc. It was
stimulating in the fact that we could look at the illustrations and talk about
Sloan’s bedtime routine, but exercised no further stimulation through self-exploration.
Although a nicely made book, I do feel it is only suitable for very young
babies as it is lacking a little Va Va Voom. I believe it would have benefitted
from the pages offering varying textures or even sounds (rattles/squeaks) – it
was only the cover of the book that had a soft fleecy texture, so was
disappointed that this wasn’t carried on throughout to help engross older
babies. Unfortunately I do feel that the book was overpriced for what you get.
You can get much more interesting books for half that price in supermarkets. It
is a good quality material book presented in a nice gift box, but best suited
for young babies. Vicki Wilson – Sloan 19 Months

My initial impression of this book was very sweet. Loved how
it was displayed in the box. The quality was excellent; extremely soft to the
touch and the pictures were well illustrated. I loved the contrast of fleece on
the back and front with quilted material on the inside. Layla must have liked
the book as she was engaged immediately and opened the book straight away but I
think she found it quite short so didn’t keep her interested for as long as I
had hoped it would. She loved the illustrations and although I couldn’t
understand what she was saying, she was babbling about what she could see. My
daughter enjoyed looking and playing with it, especially when her sister’s
joined in with her. I felt that maybe it could be a bit brighter, maybe some
different textures inside, just felt like there was something missing. It is a
lovely book, great quality; just wish it was a bit longer. I personally would
have liked to see this book on sale a couple of pounds cheaper as I don’t think
you get an awful lot for your money. I really like it so I would recommend it; it
would be up to the person whether they were willing to pay the price for it. It
is a cute, fun, soft book that I think would make a great gift for some ones
little one. Chantelle Hazelden – Layla 19 Months
