Looked
very appealing and is something my daughter would chose to use. I’ve not come
across this magazine in my local supermarket where I usually buy my little
girls magazines. In the packet you got a magazine, activity book, sheet of
stickers, a toy fan and design your own flip flops. As well as the usual colouring there were also
activities such as counting and pages showing how to make all different kind of
craft stuff. My daughter has asked if we
can buy this again. I already told my friend about it as her daughter loves
tatty teddy. I would recommend this to people with girls around the same age as
my daughter. Perfect for every little girl! Lyndsey Whitehouse – Esme 5 Years

Good, good
quality "toy” on the front (often the free item is pure tat). Decent thickness of magazine. I had never
heard of the Love From Magazines prior to receiving this to review. A little more expensive than the normal
magazine she goes for, but the freebie on the front was better quality than
normal and the magazine itself had more in that she could do. Fun activities, with some educational in
there too. All work and no play are boring, so a good balance. I wouldn’t subscribe but I was certainly
happy with it. Bethany chooses her magazines based on the "free toy” so if it
was bought again it would be down to her.
Nanny normally buys the magazines, so I will suggest this one next time
they are going out. Good freebie
(unfortunately this is what matters to 5 year olds), nice activities inside. Amy Shipham – Bethany 6 Years

It was nicely
packaged and there seemed to be a lot to attract young children. I had never heard of this magazine
before. I
don’t feel that children’s magazines generally are good value for money I would rather spend
a quarter of the amount and let my child choose an activity book from the works
or similar. Having said that the value for money is comparable to other
magazines on the market. My daughter spent less than an hour engaged
with the magazine and so cost per time spent on it, I didn’t feel it was good
value for money. I thought the
activities in the magazine were confusing, especially as some of them seemed to
require some prior knowledge of the characters. There was a good mix of
puzzles, colouring and craft type activities. However the most appealing to my
daughter had been the decorate your own flip flop activity as advertised on the
packaging. However the flip flops were tiny (she takes size 13 as an average 6
year old). Gave me the impression that the magazine was perhaps targeting a
younger audience but then the puzzles and crafts seemed age appropriate. I
didn’t feel it was good value for money. I may buy it as an occasional treat
such as going on holiday. I would never choose a magazine to buy, it would be a
treat and my daughter would choose her own. I didn’t feel that there was enough point of
difference between this magazine and others on the market to actively recommend
it. The free gift is a major draw to
children pickinga magazine, and the free gift did not appeal to my
daughter. Not
enough to keep my daughter entertained for long. Claire Louise Wilkes – Alicia 6
