The packaging was bright and inviting, looked forward to opening it. I thought it was a great idea to introduce audio to children and to help them problem solve. Great instructions easy to understand. My child I think was perhaps a little young she’s 4 next month, she enjoyed the monster side of the game and was starting to get the concept on the easy levels. I think it was a help with improving her logic skills and critical thinking. It helped Isabelle to understand how to solve this puzzle and she was determined to get it right, so tried and tried again until she got it. She was a little young for the number side. I feel she will progress to more difficult challenges as she grows older.  Presently she just kept to the monster puzzles and the easier puzzles. She played this overall around 5 times but I’m certain she will continue to play. This was played at home, but did take it to her cousins to play with them. This did keep her entertained as Isabelle really enjoys games that challenge her and likes to interact with adults whilst doing so. This game was fun and didn’t feel like she had to learn things it was just incorporated in the game. I am not sure I have noticed yet any improvement in her math skills. My daughter liked matching up the monsters so only one of each was in the boxes. I liked it was fun to play with Isabelle and I think it’s really good for her to be able to work these puzzles out. Even though she’s not quite 4 she enjoyed it and the more she plays it her skills will improve, I’m going to continue to play ethos with Isabelle. The packaging was great, so easy to take places and all able to use easily within the box, loved it was magnetic! Definitely a good educational game ad would be ideal for schools. Great quality not flimsy easily damaged pieces. Certainly good value. I would buy this and will recommend to family and friends who have children of similar ages. We both enjoyed sitting down and playing this game together, it was easy to understand and great quality! Katie Corrie – Isabelle 3 Years 11 Months.

It looked very colourful and busy. I did think it would be a bit difficult for my granddaughter to do. Fantastic and engaging way to learn basic math skills. Instructions easy to follow and understand. Very good explanation of the game. Evie just delved straight into it putting the magnets on the board randomly, without understanding what she was doing and she actually enjoyed doing this as she found the alien magnets rather funny. I let her do this and then further explained by showing her what to do which she grasped. It was very engaging and really did hold her attention. Nothing I like more than educational games that teach a child but are also fun to play with. I think the visuals are very engaging which certain helped. Evie is just 4 so the more advanced puzzles will be something she can do as she gets older and more confident with the more difficult puzzles. This arrived just on Evie’s birthday so she had quite a lot of gifts. I do think if she had not had so much to play with she would have used it more. Which I expect her to do in the future. Due to the small magnets I would not allowed her to play this without adult supervision until she is older. This did keep Evie entertained. When she played with the game it wasn’t just let’s open it up and play for 5 minutes, like she does with some of her puzzles. I would say she was engaged and it held her attention for about one hour. This certainly helped improve math skills. She had to think about what she was doing but seemed to enjoy doing this. It is very colourful and interactive.  As of yet I have not notice improvement in math skills etc., but I expect to over time. Evie loved the aliens. She found the aliens rather funny and loved the board as she is very interested in space. I liked that after explaining the concept to Evie she was able to complete this on her own and was very pleased with herself. I thought the double sided magnetic boards was a great idea as the counters do not get knocked off and stay in place.I think it is a little bit difficult for a child that is just four as Evie is and once she is doing more of this at school it will be more suitable. Due to how good the magnets stay on it is ideal for car journeys and to take on holiday. The lid also doubles up as the board which is very useful. I think it is absolutely the kind of thing schools should be using to make math’s fun and engaging. Great quality very well made and I can see it staying in good condition for a very long time. This is very good value and would make an excellent gift for a child. Before I reviewed it I would think it would not be the kind of thing I would buy as I have myself found sudoku challenging. But after reviewing it and seeing it is great fun as well as educational I would buy it. I would recommend it to aid their child’s math’s and problem solving skills. The game is well thought out and certain worth buying. The only reason I have not given it 5/5 is I would be slightly concerned that a four year old might put the magnets in their mouths. Overall this is a very good learning tool for your child. Maths can be very daunting and making games that help a child to learn through play that are also fun and colourful have got to be a good thing. Julie Jessup – Evie 4 Years

We thought this looked like a fun activity. We loved the bright colours and the different monsters. It was a great educational and challenging activity. Instructions very easy to read and to explain to a child what to do. Only 1 monster of each type to go in a row. A couple of the monsters looked similar so we kept getting mixed up but after separating them in to piles we could see which ones we had left to use. Some of the levels were too hard but it will take practice to see which level you are at. It was very easy to explain how only 1 of each type of monster was allowed. It was fun seeing which monsters were allowed to be used and why. The number based puzzles were not so much fun but we did give them a go. It was far more interesting to use the monsters for my child. We managed quite a few different cards and levels before it was too difficult. We found the first few a bit too easy but it helped us to understand which ones to put where so it was good for teaching how to do it. My child played this a handful of times for a few days. It was a calm down activity for us and to give a bit of a mental challenge over the summer holidays. My child played this at home but also took this to his grandparents’ house where he played in the car on the way and in the house. My child was entertained by this on the monster puzzles, not so much with the number puzzles where he thought he was doing math’s work. Logical thinking improved with this but my child didn’t enjoy the numbers side as much. After a couple of goes my child was able to progress on to higher level cards so we thought this was an improvement. It was good to see him thinking of which ones could go where. My child liked the different types of monsters and how you could stick them on to the box lid as it is magnetic. I liked how it was suitable for beginners and I could do some of the harder puzzles too and also that the pieces and box were magnetic making it easier to take out in the car with us without worrying that we were going to lose all of the pieces on our journey. We tested this with a 6 year old who found the first few cards a bit easy but it helped to grasp the concept of the game. If a younger child were to try it they are likely to manage some of the puzzles but I’m not sure how long it would keep them entertained. It was good to use at home and when out in the car as the pieces can stick to the magnetic lid. I think this would be a great activity for in school. I think my child would sit down for longer doing it if he had less distractions around him and if his friends were doing it too. This felt like a high quality product, it was beautifully designed and the pieces were cut well and magnets stuck to the lid well. For the hours of entertainment that could be had with this and how it can be used in the house and whilst travelling it is probably a fair amount to pay. It is good for all ages so even an adult can enjoy playing the monster puzzles. There were a lot of different cards and levels so it is suitable for a whole family. I would consider buying it as I enjoy sudoku and would love for my child to want to play too. If I thought they would sit and play I would quite happily buy this. I would and have recommended it to a friend who has children of a similar age that have a longer attention span. This is a great game it just didn’t keep my child busy for as long as I would have liked. We enjoyed playing this game, it looked great and all of the pieces were well made. The magnetic lid and pieces were brilliant and meant we could play on the go. We loved the colours and the different monsters, cards and levels. My child managed a few different cards before deciding he’d had enough, I would have preferred him to play a bit longer. It would have been good if the little pieces could gave come in a reusable fabric bag or a place holder so we could see which pieces we had left to use and to check that there were none missing. Ruth Tripp – Brody 6 Years
