like it was going to be an exciting project. Packaging a bit boring probably
wouldn’t catch my eye on a shelf. Instructions
were wrong in one place, too small and not enough detail. Probably ok for
seasoned model makers but it took a while for me and my husband to get our
heads around them and I wouldn’t class us as being uneducated. Sturdy pieces and a good mechanism. Good value and ideal gift. This was far too complicated for my 4 year
old, he lost interest in about 5 mins as pieces too small for him to handle and
instructions not intended for this age group. Much more aimed at an older child. I would recommend this to parents with older
children. Good, well priced product,
just instructions let it down and needs to be aimed at an older age group. Looks like a good product and for people who
make models regularly it’s probably very easy but for amateurs we found
instructions small and not particularly easy to follow. Also there was an error
in one place. We lost interest after
about 15 mins as my husband and I were trying to build it but our 2 children
were bored, so we finished it later when they were in bed. Nice toy once built
but I doubt it will be played with much in our house as I think my children are

like a great wee pocket money toy that is fun to make and play with. Just the
right amount of packaging and clearly shows what the product is and does. Found instructions hard to read/understand as
they were rather small and hard to read, especially if it was meant for kids.
Use of diagrams and texts occasionally made it difficult to decipher steps. A
couple of the parts broke when I was putting them together, and I Found it very
hard to fit the parts into what was sometimes very small/tight holes. I think
that some kids may struggle with it. In its present form this is not good
value. It would be better value if it was easier to put together. The product was too difficult to put
together, meaning that the kids lost interest and were not excited by it. Maybe
I would recommend only if it was an older kid with a lot of patience and were
not looking for a sturdy toy to play with.
This product was very fiddly to put together, a couple of parts broke
and it did not run right as the casing was rubbing/ stopping the wheel. Needs a
lot of patience, quite fiddly (and I have small thin fingers) due to parts

interesting when arrived, making our own wind up space rocket. You can imagine my boys were excited. Packaging bit plain, but looked good quality
product. Instructions were not really easy to follow, could do with diagrams
and larger writing as we struggled to get to grips with how this worked. The product is good quality and the items
supplied in the box were durable. My
eldest son and his father managed to finally put this all together and worked
well. It is aimed at all ages, but I
feel far too complicated for younger children and far better suited to my older
son. Kia liked the finished product but
too difficult for him to do. Aimed at
the right age group I would say this would make a good gift. Would recommend to parents with older children. Also would suggest improving instructions
too. Good toy when completed and my eldest son was proud of his achievement and
managed to entertain both boys for a while.
Overall a really good quality toy, but far too difficult for younger son
and instructions need to be improved. Lucile
