This product came in bright and colourful packaging; a useful box that entices the eye. The box has a carry handle and could have many uses afterwards. Kira was excited when she saw it. The instructions were small, but did the job.  They were nice and colourful and easy to follow. The cookies were very easy to make, only needed to add water. They were easy to roll and the cutters worked well too.  I could not see the amount of cookies it would make on packaging or instructions. The icing was not very colourful and did not stand out on cookies. We ended up decorating them with chocolate drops, so they did not look like monsters in the end! She enjoyed making them though; it was good fun and my 4 year old was very excited by the whole process. I baked them for 11 minutes, the recipe suggested 10-12 minutes and they were nice eating warm, but a few hours later they were very hard, perhaps I should have taken them out of oven sooner.  The taste was good. Kira did not eat a whole one, because they were too hard for her. The quality was good; good packaging and instructions, nice cutters to keep. Cookies did seem a bit hard, but not sure whether due to mix or overcooking. This product does offer value for money considering you get to keep cutters and box. You get Free online Rox too, which I guess is good for a Moshi Monster fan! No need for improvement; this product is bright, colourful, enticing and useful.  I would not buy this product as an activity to do with my child as cheaper baking activities available. However as the packaging looked so nice and Moshi Monsters is a popular brand, I would consider buying as a birthday present for a child’s birthday party. Kira really liked this product as she was really excited by it and after all it’s the child that it’s aiming to please. It is a fun and engaging product that is easy to use.  Claire Bennett –Kira 4 Years

This looks like a fun activity to do with the kids, not too complicated. The instructions were not bad but it did not mention the mixture would spread in the oven and it wasn’t made clear that quite a bit of flour would be needed for the rolling out. It required a fair amount of flour as it was pretty sticky and measuring out the exact amount of water required some calculations with tablespoons. The biscuits did spread in the oven and all stuck together. The mixture made loads of cookies. The mixture lost  definition whilst cooking so the lines weren’t that easy to make out. The kids both had a bit of trouble with the squeezy pots too. They had fun although there weren’t many aspects to the process so it wasn’t that engaging. They were quite bland in taste and a bit crunchy. I think it offers great value for money.  It’s a fun activity to do with your children and the stamps can be re-used too. It would be great to include a way to measure out the water within the packaging. I don’t think it teaches kids anything about cooking really as there is no focus on ingredients, I’drather they mixed different parts together. It was a fun activity but the biscuits didn’t look particularly tasty at the end! I did like the idea of keeping the biscuits in the tub att he end; although there were too many to fit in, it was a nice touch. Jo Sharp- Oliver 4½ Years Zoe 2½ Years

I liked this product when it first arrived. The packaging is eye-catching to Moshi Monster fans. The instructions were easy and simple to follow. The cookies were easy to make but we did find that a few stuck together on the tray. We did manage to make 24 cookies out of the mixture. Ruth enjoyed working this out with me. The tubes of icing were easy to use when first opened but Ruth did need help when they were nearly running out. She enjoyed decorating the cookies and making them look like monsters. I wasn’t really keen on the taste but Ruth and her Daddy loved them.  The quality is great and you can keep the tub with the shapes for next time, using your own ingredients. I think it offers excellent value for money. I would consider buying this.  I have already told my friends about the set. We enjoyed doing this cooking activity together.  She is a Moshi Monster fan, and loved that she could keep the container and the stamps for next time. Andrea Bolton – Ruth 5 Years
