The quality of this puzzle looked excellent quality and
something new and different for my children to play with. The packaging was very
eye catching and a sturdy box. This is an excellent quality puzzle. The price
is ok although I think that it would be more reasonable to price it at £9.99. I
would consider buying it as a present; probably not my children, as they found
it frustratingly difficult to piece it together! I would recommend it. I like
the fact that it is 3D. It got the whole family involved in trying to piece it
together; quality family time for us! Despite my children finding it too
difficult, we like the quality of the puzzle and it made for good family fun
(although it took us a few days to piece it all together!!) It is an excellent
quality product. My boys liked the Mad Hatter Chronicles theme; my daughter
wasn’t bothered about the character as she just likes puzzles! My children got
frustrated as it is a hard puzzle for their age group, but we persevered over a
few days and they really enjoyed the 3D aspect! Carine Roberts – Joseph 9 Years, Amelie 8 Years and Louis 4

My initial impression of this was good quality; no age
reference on the box though. The packaging looked attractive. The quality is
really good; thick cardboard jigsaw pieces with a nice finish; great 3D mask.
It does offer value for money; we have had many hours of entertainment with it.
I would buy this product again but for a slightly older child. I would
recommend it to family and friends. There is quite a large amount of background
in the picture which made this a fairly tricky puzzle, even for adults. Both my
8 year old and my 6 year old have enjoyed working on this jigsaw, although they
both have needed adult help. Some parts proved very tricky for the adults.
However, they enjoyed the fact that it was an activity that kept us all
involved for a few hours. Good quality jigsaw though that will withstand being
made time and again. The children both liked the 3D mask and seeing the
finished picture in 3D. Rachael Whotton – Isaac 8 Years

This product looks good and appeals to my son. Matt Hatter
Chronicles isn’t something we have seen before though so it probably wouldn’t
have been something I would have picked myself. Product arrived in a large
jiffy bag so was protected. Actual product packaging was just what you would
expect from a jigsaw i.e. a cardboard box wrapped in cellophane. It is a jigsaw
puzzle so doesn’t have instructions but it doesn’t need them either so all is
good! It is a good quality product. I like that the 3D glasses are more
substantial than some I have seen in children’s puzzles, books etc. (they come
attached to a mask and with elastic to keep them on) much better than the paper
type ones which never stay on the kids ears. I personally wouldn’t pay £14.99
for a kid’s jigsaw; maybe it is just my kids but I find jigsaw pieces end up
lost and hence I wouldn’t normally pay more than £7 or £8 for a jigsaw but if
you have children who are good at looking after things and wouldn’t lose the
pieces then it is ok value. My son had no knowledge of Matt Hatter Chronicles
so the subject matter didn’t particularly appeal. Also, although the 3D aspect
is fun, it is a bit of a short lived thing; we do a jigsaw then put it away so
the 3D part doesn’t really add that much to the ‘experience’. I think it is
expensive for what it is and I am not sure 3D jigsaw puzzles are really
something I would recommend! If someone I knew had a child who liked Matt
Hatter Chronicles then I might recommend as it is a nice puzzle. We spent a fun
few hours doing the puzzle together and it was a nice challenge for my son who
doesn’t tend to do puzzles. He would have preferred something that appealed
more to his tastes though and although he enjoyed seeing the puzzle ‘come to
life’ with the 3D glasses I don’t really think 3D adds to a jigsaw. The glasses
in particular though were better quality than other similar products we have
seen. Gillian Low – Brandon 9 Years
