Looked a lovely kit, nice size and well presented. I thought it was a fantastic idea and perfect for learning about sports as well as competing in them. My child loved the book and the story. It had a lovely moral too. The enjoyed reading it and then competing in their own sports day. My child had lots of fun taking part in the egg and spoon race. They loved setting up their own bean bag race.  The jumping sacks were brilliant fun and very silly. The leg straps were so much fun and made us all laugh. This was entertaining for my child and they loved organising their own sports day. I even took it to my school (I teach) and did it with some of my pupils in nursery and they loved it too. We had our own sports day as a family of 4 and really enjoyed. The book did inspire them and made it sound intriguing and they liked the sound of it. This is the perfect size and right amount of kit to easily take on holiday for good fun entertainment. These games were played at least 3 or 4 times a week. My child enjoyed the egg and spoon race the most.  They enjoyed balancing other things on the spoon too. I loved all of it. The kit was of good quality but I would have liked the bean bags to be a little heavier. Excellent value for money considering that it included a book too. I would consider buying it as I thought it was good value for money and fun. It wasn’t a fad and we were able to use the equipment for other things too. I would recommend this to family and friends for the reasons above. A lovely idea and project to do with child and adults of all ages! We really enjoyed playing with this kit as a family. We had lots of fun with the games and they were easy to carry out. Sarah Miles – Son 6 Years

My initial impression was excited for my children seeing the box so colourful and all of the fun activities for them to do.  The box was very informative and showed all the activities clearly. Seeing that this product was something for my children to be able to have fun with, inside and out, is always a positive.  A great concept by first impressions. Promoting fun with sports is always a good thing. I knew it was good as all of the eye catching fun items, got my children’s attention straight away. I liked the concept of them being able to have lots of fun with each activity as well as having exercise at the same time. This promotes fun but healthy playtime’s,  keeping their hearts healthy, getting them outdoors in the fresh air and enjoying some sports.  My children loved the book. We looked at it together first, then decided which activity they wanted to join in first. They both took it in turns to choose an activity. The book was interesting, had lots of lovely pictures and inviting. My children did enjoy it, but sadly, this wasn’t the easiest of games to play, due to the fact the eggs constantly came off the spoons from being too light. They didn’t get any chance to actually do a proper race as the eggs just fell off, so sadly this wasn’t the best race out of the activities and both my children did end up getting either annoyed or bored of the egg constantly falling off without the opportunity of actually trying to race with it. They enjoyed the bean bag race much more. It worked really well and they had lots of fun. They balanced the bean bags on their heads and ran, they bean bags stayed in place for a good while, before falling off.  My children liked this and found it amusing. My children enjoyed the sack race. We had a good giggle and they had so much fun competing in this race. They did many races with the sacks and each time one of them did win. All in all a good race.  My girls tried the leg straps but didn’t enjoy it as much as the sack race. They didn’t get much enjoyment out of it and Poppy at one point got upset. So no, this wasn’t as successful as we’d hoped. We did not set up sports day with friend as we are new to the area. My children don’t have close friends as yet as they still attend their old school, which is now quite far away. The whole family got involved in this one where my two daughters did set up their own sports day and we all had a lovely time, with lots of fun, laughter and enjoyment. They were both very pleased of their efforts and did a great job of setting up their own sports day for us all to enjoy. The  book gave them ideas of what to do and how to do it. But also my children used their own initiative to create their own sports day, with their amazing imaginations, rules, how to take part and they enjoyed it so much. It would be fantastic on holiday and to get other children, families, who are also holidaying there involved too.  This could be an ice breaker, be useful for meeting new people and making friends, to share fun and laughter, make memories and for the children to get some exercise as well as the adults. It’s a great idea to take this on holiday. This was used every day for a good week or so, they still get it out now. They’ve thoroughly enjoyed using the kit and no doubt it’ll be used again and again. They both loved the bean bag race, as they liked the silliness of it and the way they had to try to balance the bean bag which then promoted gross motor skills. They enjoyed the competition and the fun side of the activity. They played the bean bag race more than any other race. I liked the fact the kit promotes exercise, sports and to be healthy, as well as fun, laughter, bonding time with families, get togethers. The book helps children understand how a sports day is set out and helps them obtain ideas of how to create their own sports day. This helps children’s imagination, enthusiasm, understanding, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, exercise, fun and laughter. The book was colourful, fun, informative, easy to understand and really well planned out. The rest of the items were fine, but the egg and spoon wasn’t great and the race was not achievable. The other items were great and my children could use them easily and have the best fun. Personally, I think it’s priced higher than expected. I would like to say, I think this should be around the £10 mark. The price it is at, seems slightly too high for me. With the current situation with how much everything is going up, this to me would come across quite expensive.  The items are good, but I don’t think we’re getting value for money with this item. I think some of the items such as the egg and spoon were a huge let down.  Personally no, I wouldn’t buy this. Not only due to the fact it is highly priced, but as mentioned above. Some of the items weren’t the best and due to this I feel that this lets it down somewhat. I would recommend if perhaps family and friends are looking for something to do on holiday or in the summer break with their children, this product is a great idea to promote time together having fun and a laugh. But at the same time, I’d feel the cost could be expensive unless everyone clubbed together. Maybe a birthday gift this could be purchased as. Not full marks, but this did deliver so much fun and fond memories it has given my children and us as a family. Also because it promotes exercise, fun, laughter, understanding, imagination and sports. The children can get involved and have a great time. Each activity was fun (apart from the egg and spoon which was deemed to fail). Overall, a lovely product, where children can have a great time playing, having fun, taking part in sports, exercise and laughing so much till their tummies hurt. Also, the book was lovely and easy for children to understand. This helped them create their own sports day with ease and they did a wonderful job too.  This helped us as a family, bond and have fun, laughter and make special memories. The contents of the item was really good, aside of the egg and spoon race, every other race was a success and so much fun.  My children have enjoyed the activities so much, and learned a lot from creating their own sports day.  I would recommend this product for families, friends and even the schools.  Sarah Carter – Ella & Poppy 7 & 5 Years

It looked like a great concept. Not something I’ve come across before. A really good idea. Pretty unique I’d say. They were more interested in trying out the sports! The book is good, but kids wouldn’t wait to read it before playing. They loved the egg and spoon race. They ran up and down our hallway playing it and in the garden too. They enjoyed setting up their own bean bag race. They practiced their bean bag throwing for school sports day. They also loved the sack race.  They used them inside and out. They actually found the leg straps difficult to use as they came undone easily. We did not set up sports day with their friends. We did use the kit to have some fun in the garden as a family. I would not say the book has inspired them both as they just wanted to play the games. This would be easy to take on our travels as the package is very light and small. My children have played with the games multiple times. They both loved the egg and spoon race the most. I liked what it was as very different and not something I’ve seen before. I do think the quality could be better. I don’t think it will last too long. I think it is more than I’d pay. Especially as the quality seems a little poor. I would buy this at the right price. I would recommend if they were looking for a fun family game. A fun concept, good book, but let down by quality and price. My children were very excited to try out the games. We all played these games as a family.  The games were suitable for inside the house and out. Could be better quality. Price is quite a lot for what it is. Nice and light for travels. Nice and colourful. Book is a nice addition but kids wouldn’t wait to read it before playing. Would actually make a really nice gift as it comes nicely presented in a box. A great unique concept.
