I thought this was a really useful idea and something I really needed! The packaging was clear and concise; tells you what the product
is. The instructions were clear, easy to follow instructions. My partner installed product, as I wanted to be sure it was done properly and safely and he said it was easy to do. It does offer value for money; since moving my son into a bed, I have been unable to leave a window open in his room at all, due to the design. This product allowed me to do that. The quality is excellent; really well made, durable product. I would definitely consider buying this; really pleased with the product and also something that we actually really needed as the weather is warming up. I would recommend it to others. It is well packaged, good easy to follow instructions and easy to fit. It is a good quality, safe and durable product. Really helps in my son’s bedroom where there are no small windows we can open. First impressions were good, nice concise detail on the pack and clearly said what it was for. I have marked down the packaging only as it
was difficult to get into and needed scissors. The packaging itself was good as it very clearly showed what the product was for. It convinced me immediately that it was a safe product that was easy to install. It has on it stats of how many children fall out of windows each year, which I thought was good, if a little scary as it’s not something that you think of that often. The fitting instructions were very clear, step by step 1-10 backed up by a 3 separate diagrams showing the component parts. I couldn’t fault them. It was very easy to install, you do need a drill, electric screwdriver or a hand one with some elbow grease, but basically four screws and it was fixed. It does offer value for money; I think it’s on a par with other products on the market cost wise. It is a good quality product which looks pretty unbreakable. The only negative is only having one key as it’s quite small and could easily get lost. I would consider buying it and recommend it to family and friends. The reason I like this product compared to other restrictors is because it’s a combined lock & restrictor. So unlike some other restrictors if you want them undone for cleaning etc. it’s really easy to unlock with the key. I have a product from another manufacturer on a different window in the house and it needs a screwdriver to undo which is a real pain. This is easy to install, easy to open/close, looks quite smart and at a reasonable price so I would recommend it. Amanda Hayes – Ethan 15 Months

This looks like a good sturdy solid product. The packaging was great; easy to identify the product and its key features and easy to access.
The instructions were quite wordy and long. They need to be referred to throughout the installation and more diagrams would have helped. I was fairly easy to install; some level of DIY aptitude was needed as you need to screw the product into your window frame on a vertical plane. It does offer value for money; the price is very reasonable considering the level of security it offers. The quality is very good, self-tapping screws offer added thoughtfulness. I would consider buying more of these for each of my children’s bedrooms. I would
recommend them. This is a very good product offering value for money giving peace of mind and extra security for your children with relatively little effort or skill required. Liane Chalmers – Maisie 4 Years
