EasyTots MiniMax EasyMat Reviews

Looked really good and loved the colour. love the design could be a bit wider for more food to fit but apart from that it’s great. Instructions very easy to follow. This was very easy to use. Was easy to stick down and clean etc and loved it has a lid. The 5 strong suction points were really effective, but after a while my little one was able to peel it off.  It stayed firm for most the time but as my little one was nearly finished eating she was able to pull and peel it off.  This was an ideal fit for our highchair. Wasn’t big enough to section foods well but maybe for a younger baby that eats a little less it would. This did help make mealtimes less stressful as I was able to catch her peeling it off to throw it on the floor before she managed too.  This did help encourage self-feeding. Not used it to take out as we haven’t been able to go anywhere, but it does seem like having a lid would make it ideal to take out with you. I did not try baking using this but does seem useful. We used this most dinner times. This was very easy to clean under the tap with warm water. I liked that it stuck to the high chair well. This is really good quality. If I had another child in the future I would buy it at a slightly younger age. I would definitely recommend to friends with younger babies. Had a great experience using it and will continue using it until little one is out of the highchair. Jade Harratt – Luna-Rae 20 Months

Seen similar ones on the market already so was nothing new. The design is basic but OK. Instructions are very straight forward. I had no issues using this. The 5 point suction points were very strong and held well. Once in place on the highchair this would stay put and Christian did try to remove but was unable too. This was not a good fit for my Cossato tray.  It was fine to section foods at mealtimes. Personally I would not say this made mealtimes less stressful for me still the same. This did certainly help encourage self-feeding. Coming with a lid is definitely ideal especially for eating out. I must admit I was not aware you could bake with this and did not use this to bake with. We used this daily. Mainly used at home for mealtimes. Very easy to keep clean.  I loved how easy this was to clean and travel with hygienically. The quality is really good. I personally would not buy this as there are cheaper ones on the market that do the same job. A good quality product works well but too expensive for what it is. Basic and easy to use and keep clean. It thought it looked quite handy for being out and about. The concept of it is good when introducing plate/bowl to baby as they obviously can’t pick it up and throw it. Found it quite self-explanatory but instructions aided the use. Easy to push suction cups down to secure in place. Suction was good to highchair, however other surfaces such as table and laminate floor for snack time didn’t work and baby was able to pick it up. It says it will stick to any hard surface but I don’t understand what other surfaces you’d be sticking this onto other than a highchair or table? This fitted our highchair with ease. I personally did not find this easy to section food at mealtimes.  There is only one main compartment as opposed to 3 or 4 smaller ones to section. However, I don’t find this a problem as we usually put everything together. No real difference in making mealtime less stressful.  However found it was one extra thing to wash and dry. Very good if needing to cook meal directly in it. Baby was already self-feeding from high chair table, but continued to self-feed from mat. The fact that this comes with carry case, folding sides and lid is one of the features I will find most useful and will use in the future. I did not try cooking in this. I would use this at lease 4 days a week. Mainly used for snacks during the day.  Very easy to keep clean.  The aspect I liked the most was the lid for transferring snacks while out and about  (not that I have been able to test this much due to COVID situation). Appears well made with baby safe material, no sharp bits. But a quick look through the web and you can buy silicone/bamboo bowls and plates with suction for cheaper and with more fun designs than the retail price for this mat. I’m not sure as a customer I would choose this one over the others at first glance. For me personally, I don’t think it would be worth the money for how much we’d use it. Mainly due to the fact our high chair already comes with a removable snack/meal tray that we don’t really use. I thought the mat may be really handy for snacks in the living room, but the mat wouldn’t stay stuck to the floor and was easily moved by baby. I would recommend if they were looking for a removable tray for their high chair. Has some uses, but not for our family. Found it only maintained good suction to highchair not other hard smooth surfaces like it states. Appears good for transporting snacks but some worries over the lid not staying on secure enough. Good introduction to plate for baby. Danniella Davies – Teddy 10 Months
