Mori Ribbed Clever Zip Sleepsuit Reviews

I thought it came lovely packed and the material was soft and a beautiful colour. I love this idea, that it is a two-way Zip so that it’s easier to change your baby, especially in the night. The pattern is simple but elegant. This was very easy to put on my son as nice stretchy material with plenty of room to move. Great fit, not wide and not tight and still a bit of growing room. My son was very comfy. He could still play and when in bed he was able to move about in his sleep with no issues.  Very comfortable. There were no issues with him wearing it. He’s a very fidgety child and moves a lot in his sleep and the sleep suit moved with him and never bothered him once. Thankfully, I don’t need to change him often in the night but on the times that I did the 2-way Zip made it so much better for both of us. Only having to unzip the bottom part and get his legs out made it better to disturb him less and made it less likely he was getting cold. Unlike other sleepsuits I must fully strip and disturbs him more from his sleep. This one caused less upset. If I’m honesty I wasn’t fully aware of the safety tab or what it exactly does. I read it but didn’t understand it. I received mine without feet and this was perfect for my son as he does not like his feet covered at all and I think it allows growing room. Definitely used this weekly. We would use it one or 2 nights on the run depending on if it was clean then washed it in the weekly load and used again. Lots of wear out of it. I used it mostly at home and for nighttime. He used it once for PJ Day in nursery. Very easy to launder and instructions easy to follow. I loved the softness and the easiness of changing my son the most. I think it is slightly expensive, but the make and quality of the material makes it worth the price. It is amazing quality, so soft to the touch and soft on my son’s skin. No fading after washes and the ability to stretch and it go back into shape is great. I would buy this. I have already been on the website and been looking in the sale. The clothes are great quality and are sustainable so they will last. I have already recommended it to a friend who is due a baby very soon. I give this a 5. The sleepsuit is just perfect. My child can run around in it, sleep in it with no issues at all. I love how I don’t need to disturb him as much when he needs changing in the night and allows to keep his top half warm. It’s made from sustainable products which is a great way for the environment. This product has been great from the start. From the little cute box, it arrived in, to the soft touch it felt like when I first felt it and the softness it still feels after each wash. The fact it is easy reshapeable and even though the material is stretchy it doesn’t leave it saggy for the next use. My son looks great in this, and he doesn’t appear restricted from movement. He’s a fidget so this is just great on him and great it’s a sleepsuit with his feet out. I love the colours available. I have had loads of complements off people about how cute he looks in it and how soft it is. The price I would be put off paying but you get what you pay for, and the material that it is made from is brilliant and helping look after the planet. This will still fit him for a while to come. I am very happy with the sleepsuit, there is nothing I can fault it with. Thank you for the opportunity to review this product of Mori. I will be buying in future, and I have loved sharing my opinion with mommy friends to get these for their little ones. Gemma Linney – Elliott 2 Years

The sleepsuit was packaged nicely. My first impressions were that it was a beautiful colour and soft fabric, and I couldn’t wait to put it on one of my girls. I was a bit unsure of having a zip on the sleepsuit but this worked really well and made nighttime changing pretty easy/quick. This was very easy to put on. It fitted both of my twin girls well. They both seemed to be very comfortable (and they usually let me know if they are not!!). They certainly seemed to be very comfortable wearing their sleepsuit. The material is lovely and soft, even after many washes. I only needed to use the two-way zip once as my girls are a bit older, but it certainly made nappy changes easy. Much easier than doing up buttons. The safety tab just removes the concern that they may catch themselves on the zip or undo it.  I would have loved this to have scratch mitts. I used sleepsuits with night mitts until about 18 months due to eczema (I had to get specialist brands because most don’t do them beyond 9 months). We have used the sleepsuit multiple times. I live in a cold house and the sleepsuit is quite fine fabric, so I used it mostly on warmer nights. Washed well and stayed soft. It just looks incredibly comfortable, and it is so soft, great quality product. I think it is a lot to pay for a sleepsuit so I’m not sure value for money, although it is great quality and design. Very well-made and lovely fabric. Since receiving the item I have made other purchases from MORI, however I don’t think I could justify spending more than about £20/£25 for a single sleepsuit. I possibly would have for my firstborn but with three children 4 and under I don’t think I would. Despite the fact it is a beautiful product. I would recommend to those who could afford it as it is a lovely product. How could I not give it 5/5. It is a quality, organic, soft material that looks adorable on. In summary, the ribbed clever zip sleepsuit is a soft and comfortable sleepsuit, well designed in beautiful colours with a zip for ease of changing. It washed well and will be used well. It is definitely at the top end of the price point for a sleepsuit but if you can afford it it’s worth it. Louise Hall – Maisie 23 Months Louise Hall – Maisie 23 Months

Very lovely, soft fabric, I like the rubbed design, overall, I thought it looked very nice. I was sceptical about the zip as I normally don’t buy zipped sleepsuits because they can catch the baby’s skin. Good design, it fit my baby well. Wasn’t lose or baggy and the legs were just the right length, so she doesn’t trip over. This was very easy to put on her, except one time I did catch some her skin in the zip. After that happened, I just pulled the fabric away from her skin slightly to avoid catching. Or sometimes I put my finger behind the zip as I was pulling it up, so it didn’t catch her skin. I have had this same issue with other zip body suits. This was an excellent fit as described above, not lose or baggy but not too tight either. I think my daughter is small- to- average sized for her age. In some other brands I must size down for her but not this sleepsuit. She seemed very comfortable and didn’t impede her movement. Some other sleepsuits are too long in the legs and arms, but this was perfect fit. She seemed comfortable and wasn’t too hot, sometimes with other sleeps suits I think she’s too hot at night because of polyester fabric. The two-way zip makes changing easier to unzip from the bottom. The safety tab on the zipper was OK.  However, it didn’t stop my baby’s skin catching unfortunately. But it’s better than other zip bodysuits I’ve used. Probably not something that can be avoided with zips, one simply must take care when using. I would use 2-4 nights in a row depending if breakfast was spilled on it! I normally change to a new sleep suit every 2-4 nights. This was used at home as pyjamas. Very easy to wash.  It came up nice after washing, kept its shape, the fabric was still soft and was easy to fold and put away. I loved the soft fabric and the good fit. I would not buy this as I think it’s a little expensive. I wouldn’t normally pay that much for children’s sleepsuit. It is excellent quality, nice soft fabric. I’m in two minds about this – but probably no I would not recommend.  I do think it’s better to pay for quality products because it will last longer and can be used for multiple children. But Victoria is my last child, and she does grow out of things quickly. I also feel this sleepsuit is out of my price range because of the quantity needed – e.g. I would need to buy at least 3 at a cost exceeding £90. If it was a two pack for £32.95 then I would be more inclined to buy it. Not full marks due to price, but otherwise very lovely sleepsuit. I think I have stated everything above, overall, very lovely sleepsuit just a bit expensive. I normally steer clear of zip sleepsuits as stated I have caught my baby’s skin in this one and other brands, but this was better than others I’ve used. The tab behind the zip made it less likely to catch her skin. The one time it did catch her skin I think the safety tab was folded under when I put the suit on her. Also, I think this would be a good sleepsuit for toilet training as it can easily and quickly be taken off. Victoria was able to take this off very easily, even though we’re not currently toilet training I did think it would be good for when we do start, and she needs to use the toilet in the night.
