The car garage came in a well presented box with great visuals so you could see exactly what you were getting. The little car you get can be seen to the side of the box. The design is really cute and so handy that it comes as a lovely carry case so can be easily moved anywhere you go. The main part of the garage is made from a very sturdy plastic that feels really robust and unbreakable but the 2 side flaps that pull down to create the road is quite flimsy and every time we open them it feels like you are going to snap them. This has not been the case though and it is still holding firm so it could just be that the plastic is thinner but still robust enough to handle even my little boys hands. It’s a very easy toy to construct so the instructions were not really used much but it is certainly an easy to read and follow guide of what you need to do and how to put everything together. My son found all the pieces easy to hold and really enjoyed being able to put them in the correct places with some guidance, He was so excited to construct the different bits although the side winding ramps were a bit of a challenge for him so we ended up doing this for him as it was just to fiddley. George has really enjoyed playing with the garage especially the lift and although it gets a little stuck at times he really enjoys sending the cars up and down and then watching them go down the ramp. It has shown good communication to as he is always chatting about what his cars are doing and which ones of his cars can fir down the ramps and through the gaps. I would say George has already got a love of transport so this toy has just heightened that and he enjoys playing with this garage, He is always watching out for different vehicles outside and telling us what they are doing etc. This toy garage is great for hand eye coordination as they need to learn how to operate the ramps, the lift, the barriers as well as driving the car around the garage. I think it is a great concept to be able to grow with my child adding different features gives him a chance to expand his knowledge and capabilities and develop a who new level of communication and understanding of mechanisms and adaptions and how to work those. I absolutely adore toys that do not require things like batteries as I find it’s such a hinderance, This toys is a grab and off you go toy so can be used as much as they like and can be taken anywhere to as it’s so easy to transport. George plays with the garage on and off I would say he does have a turn with it every other day as he has also found lots of other cars from his toy box that fit and he likes to make them go down the ramp really fast which keeps his engaged and getting that full enjoyment out of it. George has loved setting this up in the front room as well as then taking it out into the garden where he spends most of his time at the moment, It’s great that he can move it around with him and set it back up. George has burst of wanting to play he loves the lift and the ramps and will spend a good 20 minutes playing with the toy then he will go off and do something else but he always comes back to this toy on a frequent basis so that’s a good sign that this keeps him entertained in small bursts. George loves carrying the case around with him and the of course making the lift on the toy going up and down the different levels, there are 3 levels on the garage and the lift goes up and down many of times, he absolutely loves sending the cars down the two yellow ramps that attach to the side of the toy and seeing which ones go the fastest. I like the fact that it stores away so easily as a parent we all know how much mess children make and then having to clean everything up and put it away, but with this garage it literally is as simple as putting everything into the case and shutting the 2 grey plastic sides they click into place with little catches and that’s it you have a very neatly kept together toy garage and don’t lose any of the pieces that come with it as they all stay together each time. It is definitely something we will consider buying more of George would love more of the cars as he points to them on the box and talks about them and they seem to have some really lovely design ones to. This toy is definitely in the perfect age range of 18 months plus as I feel they need to have that understanding of how the garage works so would be a little bit of a struggle for younger children. The quality of the main garage is very sturdy plastic but some of the other parts feel quite flimsy and thin, the 2 side panels I feel like I am going to break each time I open them and then I have a typical boy who is quite grabby and pully so I do wonder how long it would be before it cracks but it hasn’t yet so this is great so far. Price for this garage is about right as I feel it is a well-liked toy and will get so much use out of it making the toy great value for money, it’s also great to store and also great to take anywhere with you so adds that extra value. I would say it’s a great birthday/ Christmas gift to give as they will get to use their imagination and have lots of fun at the same time, it’s also great that when it’s not in use it can easily be stored away. I think it’s a lovely toy garage and would be loves by many children so I would definitely recommend it to people. I think it’s a lovely toy garage that has a lot to give a child and will be a well-loved toy for quite some time. I have marked it down slightly just because I am sceptical how long the thinner plastic will be ok for as it really does bend and doesn’t feel that robust. This is a great little toy garage with lots of interactions for my child, it has a lift that goes up 2 levels, it has a ramp that is great for seeing how fast the cars can go and it also has some barriers that my little boy has enjoyed lifting up and down and stopping the cars from getting out the garage, It has helped him learn how to operate this pieces with ease. I love that fact that his communication had become stranger and clearer and it has promoted his counting as well as he is always seeing how fast the cars go as well as going up the lift levels. The garage is easy to store which is a great bonus for us parents as you get fed up of cleaning all the mess all the time and storage can be an issue but with this you literally store it all together in the case and then that’s it. The case is small enough and compact that you could take it with you if you were going to friends or away on holiday so an added bonus of a toy to keep them occupied. Andrea Kemp – George 2 Years

First impression was good nice and compact. Design looked good. Instructions were easy to read. He could use the garage once set up, few pieces would come off easily and need to be put back on. He enjoyed the cars coming down the ramp and going back up the lift. He just loved the lift and the ramps and parking the cars. This did help improve his hand-eye co-ordination. Was good to know you can purchase push and go cars that he could add to his Motor Town Garage. A toy that doesn’t need a battery is always a win in my eyes. This has been played with quite a few times. He would always play with this at home. It would keep him entertained for a little bit. My son loved the car, lift and ramps. I like the fact you can easily pack this away. Knowing we can get extra cars for this set is good, but not something we would consider purchasing at the moment. I think the age suitability is ideal for my son. One of the red parts that folds away was a bit bent out shape and flimsy material. Few things come off easily. Personally I feel it could be a little cheaper. I would consider purchasing if saw it on offer, but feel the quality could be improved. I would not recommend at the moment, maybe give it a bit longer to see how it lasts over time. Great idea folding garage that could take away with you, but the red pull out flaps are to flimsy, one is bent out of shape. My son did love the lift and ramps and car. Arrived well packaged and looked good quality toy. Good design and liked that it came with own carry case. Instructions clear and easy to follow. My son did not have any problems holding the pieces in this set as ideal for little hands. My son really loved the fact this had cars, crash barrier, car wash and roundabout. He really had fun sending cars down the ramp. He is a boy so loves cars and observing them on the road, and this helped him understand all the different cars and vehicles outside on the road. The fact he had to operate ramp, lift etc., this was a help improving his hand-eye co-ordination. I did like the idea he can collect more Motor Town cars to add to his collection. Always good to have a toy that does not need batteries. This is played with weekly. Mostly played with at home, but as we can transport easily has accompanied us to Grandparents when visiting. This has kept him entertained which is great as attention span for a young boy is limited. My son loved sending the cars down the ramp and the lift. I liked the fact no need for batteries and my son had fun with this toy. We will be looking at other Motor Town cars and toys to add to our collection. Ae suitability was ideal for our son. The quality is good, but some parts are not as robust as they could have been. I would say this is reasonably priced. I would buy this as a gift. I would recommend due to the fun my son has had with his Motor Town Garage. A well designed toy which is interactive and entertaining and you can add to the collection. Oliver Stamp – Charlie 2 Years
