Large clear pictures. Wonderful to get little ones started on their potty training journey. Lovely sturdy cards to look at and talk about. Lots of conversation as we looked through the cards. Played games with the cards, sequencing and talking about each step. Reminded about these as children actually started to use the potty/toilet. Very simple pictures with no text meaning they could really see each picture and opened up conversation. Very clear pictures which helped with potty training process. Used mainly with 2 year olds, some already clean and dry others still in nappies. They all enjoyed looking through them. Used in small groups at least once a week. As being used with a group of children hard to say but some have now moved out of nappies. I liked the large clear pictures.  Sturdy design. The price seems very reasonable so good value. Being handled weekly by a number of children and still going strong. Would definitely consider if the ones we have ever need replacing. I would recommend and I have showed parents whilst having meetings and all seem impressed. Very useful resource to have to hand. A good product perfect for little ones to hold, look at and talk about. Opens up conversations which may not have happened otherwise. They are large and easy to hold and see. They are bright and attractive. I haven’t used them before. It is a good way to communicate with a child who can’t speak or is learning to speak. She engaged with them and I think they did help with potty training although she stopped using the cards quite quickly. They were a little cumbersome in the toilet while doing things like wiping and washing hands. Unsure if built her confidence. She did start using the toilet quite quickly once we introduced the cards but I can’t tell if it was the cards or her natural development. I am not sure if it improved cognitive development. Possibly these cards helped her to understand quicker. I agree ideal for 12 months plus as my daughter could name them and remember them and hold them. We used every day. After about 3 weeks of using these we noticed improvement in toilet training. I liked the size, colour and aesthetics. I think they are a bit expensive. £7.99 would feel better but if a family are struggling with potty training I’m sure it would feel good value. Good quality as they are bright and durable. I would not necessarily purchase these because I don’t really use flashcards generally. However if I was struggling with potty training I might consider purchasing. I would recommend if they were looking for help with potty training. They seem to have really helped our daughter, even though she doesn’t use them anymore. They are fun and easy to use.  Overall very good and easy to use. We noticed that there isn’t a card for flushing but on the other hand we felt there were too many pants cards. I don’t think there is a need to have different colors/gender for pants. My daughter found them fun and interesting for a while but has now stopped using them but she has started using the toilet regularly so they must have helped her. They could be used to introduced the concept of consent and body autonomy if some more cards are made with body parts etc.  Laura Beard – Nairobi – 2 Years 8 Months

When the my little flash cards first arrived I wasn’t sure about the pictures of designs but I know the potty is really good and this is the same firm so knew we needed to try it. I think the concept is interesting – all children potty train differently and therefore need different support with their training. Unfortunately my child did not take to the flash cards at all. Whilst they are designed to be engaging my child was not interested and wouldn’t look at them. I can see though with a different child perhaps they would be more engaging. Due to the fact that Isabelle wasn’t interested in the flash cards they haven’t helped her confidence with potty training. She is very stubborn and not at all interested in the card or in potty training despite being ready to do so. The flash cards didn’t help improve cognitive development for us as my child wasn’t interested. As Isabelle wasn’t interested in the flash cards they haven’t helped process potty training in anyway. I would say these are suitable for children aged 12 months plus and therefore should have been ideal for my child. We tried to use these multiple times a day for a week but we didn’t get any movement so stopped using them. I liked the concept and the size of the flash cards. They are a high price to try something that for us didn’t work – there are similar products on the market for less (books etc). The quality of the flash cards was really good and they seem to be durable. I would recommend these when discussing potty training, however I would be making people aware it didn’t work for us. These are a good idea but unfortunately didn’t work for us so I can’t mark them high. The potty training flash cards are a brilliant idea, with funny pictures but they don’t work for every child. Jessica Howard – Isabelle 2 Years 6 Months
