Nourish & Relieve Massage and Stretch Mark Oil Reviews

Nice packaging and I liked the blue bottle. I liked that it was designed by midwives, vegan and was made with natural ingredients. Great concept. Massaging my bump with the oil helped my partner to bond with the baby bump. If it helps prevent stretch marks too then this is a genius product. The instructions are self-explanatory. Very easy to use thanks to the pump action for suspension. Much easier to use than another branded oil I have used. Easy to apply, pump the oil into one hand and rub over my bump, thighs and breasts. Does not absorb instantly but didn’t leave me feeling sticky and oily.  I was using this product as a preventative of stretch marks. I will continue to use it throughout my pregnancy and hopefully it will make a difference in the appearance of stretch marks that may appear. I am awaiting results. When my bump felt itchy I would rub on the oil and it did give me relief and stopped me wanting to scratch. I have not used it for this purpose yet but I do intend to if I can convince my partner. I used it every evening when getting ready for bed. I used this on my bump, upper thighs and breasts. There wasn’t an aroma to like or dislike. I liked the pump action for dispensing the oil, it made it really easy to use. Loved the bottle, suspension and the oil felt lovely on my skin. Really good value as I feel like it will last me a long time even with using it every night. I would buy this as easy to use and goes on to the skin nicely. I have already recommended it to my friend as she is a vegan so this product is perfect. Easy to use, feels lovely on my skin, natural ingredients and developed by midwives which makes me feel confident that it will help with stretch marks and relaxation. Easy to use thanks to a pump action. Helped my partner to feel involved with the pregnancy and bond with our baby. Helped to relieve itching. The oil didn’t leave me feeling sticky so I could get into bed or put pj’s on. Rebecca Wyatt – Mum to Be

Firstly, I was very impressed at the speed in which the oil was delivered (within 2 days). The green packaging was very attractive and appropriate for a maternity product. I absolutely loved the deep blue colour of the bottle, and because the bottle is quite thick and heavy, it makes the oil feel like a luxury product. It looks nice on my dressing table too! I think the multipurpose use of the oil is a great concept- combining both a stretch mark and massage oil means you only have to use one product instead of two. It’s always nice to encourage massages in pregnancy too to relieve the usual aches and pains. I didn’t take note of the instructions as it’s fairly obvious how to use it. When I first used the oil, I was a bit too enthusiastic and put way too much on, so it meant it sat on my skin for a while. Less is definitely more with this product, but once I’d figured out the right amount to apply it was easy to use. I found the pump a little hard to use on occasions, particularly if your hands are greasy from applying the oil already. I feel perhaps a shake bottle with a stopper (as with an essential oil bottle) might be better to control how much oil comes out of the bottle. Once I’d worked out how much to use on each area of my body, the oil absorbed fairly quickly into my skin with no sticky residue. I haven’t noticed any new stretchmarks have developed since I’ve been using the oil, but as I’m only in my second trimester I’m not really big yet! I’ve definitely noticed my skin is smoother and more supple. I’ve been suffering with itchy skin across my stomach area, and this definitely helped to relieve it. My skin is very sensitive, so pleasantly surprised to find I didn’t have any reaction to this oil. I used this once a day after my evening bath/shower. I applied this across my stomach and bump area, breasts and hips. The aroma was good, no real smell to it which is fine by me. I loved  the packaging- thought it was really smart and a nice concept. A really high quality product that delivers what it promises, and felt much more high-end than other stretchmark creams I’ve used in the past because of its packaging. A little goes a long way of this oil so I feel that £10.99 is really good value for money. I’ve been using it every day for a month and still have half a bottle left. I would definitely buy it. Felt like it would be an effective way to reduce the stretchmarks that will develop as my bump gets bigger. I would recommend as I’ve been impressed with it so far. In fact, I’ve had several friends recommend this product to me before I reviewed it, as well as other products in the range. I think minor improvements to the bottle would make this a perfect product but the oil itself is great. This multipurpose oil is a great concept for pregnant women. I felt the packaging made it feel like a luxury product, and a real treat to apply it every night. The oil was quick to absorb into the skin, and leaves it feeling soft and supple. Would make a great present for expectant mothers or baby shower gift. Catherine Stewart – Emmeline 20 Months & Mum To Be

It was packaged well in a nicely presented bottle. Good size bottle and very strong! Loved the glass bottle rather than plastic that seems to be on everything and the box is handy to keep it in to stop the oil spreading into everything else. A great concept, I have a lot of stretch marks on my ever growing bump. It’s nice that it can be used a massage oil too, rather than just a stretch mark oil. The instructions are clear in that they tell you to massage into skin but I personally think a time frame would have been better, especially to see results on stretch marks. It only tells you to use when you ‘need a moment of relaxation’ which is great but I wonder if using every few days will help stretch marks? This was easy to use. Spray nozzle isn’t stiff and works well and is a handy size to use with one hand when you need a bit more. It was easy to apply but we never really knew how much to use so it has been a bit of a guess and sometimes we ended up with far too much! Maybe this could be added into the instructions? It absorbed well into the skin when got the amount of oil right. Again, this might have been handy to have in the instructions. It was also difficult to get off hands that had been used to massage it in but this has been the same with any stretch mark oil that I’ve used.  No, I didn’t notice any difference in the appearance of stretch marks. My husband has used this regularly on my stomach and has enjoyed being able to feel baby kick underneath. I’ve mainly used this after a bath/shower in the evening, probably about 3/4 times a week. I have stretch marks mainly on my stomach so used it there the most. I also used it there the most to relieve the tight feelings from a growing bump. Unfortunately I couldn’t smell any aroma at all. I think it would have been a nice addition if it did have a relaxing smell to it. I liked the relief I felt after using it when my stomach was feeling particularly tight. I also liked the size of the bottle, being a nice size to store away as well as being pretty enough to leave out. Excellent quality as a massage oil, feels great on the skin and is easy to rub in when you get the amount correct. As a stretch mark oil however, it isn’t clear how often to use to see results and what results there should be. All the stretch mark oils on the market feel ‘pricey’ to me, especially when you’re also saving to buy everything for your new baby. I personally feel it a little expensive to be used primarily as a massage oil. I would not buy this. I think if it had a nice aroma and was able to make a difference to the appearance of stretch marks, I’d be more tempted but at just under £11, there are other massage oils out there that smell nice and work the same for less. I would not recommend for the same reason. Not full marks from me as I was only able to use as a massage oil and was really looking forward to using it to help stretch marks. However, it felt lovely on my skin and everything felt less tight and a bit more relaxed after using. I think this is a lovely massage oil and myself and my husband have enjoyed using it on my bump. It has made my skin feel less tight just after use and slightly more relaxed. It’s unclear how to use this to aid stretch mark appearance and this information could be a great addition to the product. It has no aroma. I feel it is a little pricey for what it is. The bottle is lovely, nicely presented and very easy to use. Rianna Hunt – Jacob 2 Years and Mum to Be
