Numberblocks® Step Squad Mission Headquarters Reviews

I thought the toy was really well made. It was colourful and looked like it had lots of different parts that would make it really interesting to play with. I thought it was a really good concept that could get children exploring and learning about numbers. The instructions were helpful and clear, although I only looked at them once. They were most useful for setting the toy up. Amoelia really enjoys the Numberblocks on TV, so she was really excited to have a Numberblocks toy. Amoelia really enjoyed being able to unfold the walls and especially attach the slide. I like the fact that you can put everything away in the pack and close it, but thought the door could have some sort of latch because sometimes things fall out. Amoelia really liked playing with the three figure and playing with it in different situations, however I felt that to get the most out of the toy, you would need more than one figure. Amoelia played with the ride-on lift and slide a lot. I think this was her favourite part! Amoelia did enjoy flipping the table, and especially putting the stickers in their places. I felt that we needed some more figures to make full use of this feature. She really enjoyed putting the stickers on the set. Amoelia enjoyed using the different parts such as the spyglass and the headset to make her own adventures, again, I felt this would have been more fun with other figures. Amoelia has really enjoyed playing with the set. We will consider getting other figures if she continues to do so. Amoelia did find the pieces easy to hold and use, although I felt some were quite small and easy to lose. Amoelia really liked playing with it, but it didn’t hold her attention for very long periods of time. At first, Amoelia played with the toy regularly (every few days), however the frequency decreased over time. This was played with in our living room. She mostly played with it on her own, but mummy and daddy also joined in sometimes. Amoelia most enjoyed the lift and slide feature. I liked that the you can put all the pieces in the set and close it to put it away. Amoelia is three. I feel that this is suitable for her age as she is learning numbers and counting, but feel she will get more out of the toy when she is a bit older. I think the toy had too many small parts for children in nurseries. This would be ideal in schools in preschool and reception. I personally think that the price is a little too much and would have to wait for a sale or discount to consider buying it. The quality is good. The toy is made well and sturdy. I would consider buying this especially as Amoelia develops her counting and number skills. I would recommend this toy as it’s fun and imaginative and has a good educational aspect, but I would add the caveat that you also need to purchase separate figures in order to get the most out of it. This is a great product, well made, colourful and I like the educational aspect. I think you need more figures to get the most out of the set though. Our overall experience was positive. It helped that Amoelia enjoys the Numberblocks to program, which encouraged her to play with the toy. The toy really needs more figures to get the most out of it. I like that the toy develops imagination and is educational. Elizabeth Fairclough – Amoelia 3 Years

This looked bright and colourful when it arrived. I think it is a fantastic toy. Instructions very easy to follow. Theo loves number blocks and this has really helped with learning how to count. My son loved the top-secret number features and unfolding the walls. He loved the figure included and shouts them out. The ride-on lift and being able to zoom down the slide was very entertaining. He also loved flipping the top of the pentagonal table to discover the spy station. He loved the sticker sheet, although I do have a few on my wall. Theo really enjoyed getting creative and making up his own adventures. We will be purchasing more Numberblocks figures as he takes them everywhere. All the pieces in this set were easy or him to hold and use. Certainly keeps him entertained and he will not leave this toy alone. Mostly played this on the living room tables. He loves playing with this toy when his friends are over. He loves number three and counting and saying the colours. This was certainly age suitable for my son. Most definitely ideal game to have in Nurseries as it is teaching numbers and the colours keep them interested. I do feel the price is a little high. It’s a great toy loose in some places but still a fab toy. I would buy this as really good for them to learn colours as well as numbers. I would recommend as it is a great toy to use for interaction with your child. Love this toy as it also teaches independent play. Creates imaginary play also solo play. This looked well made, bright and colourful when arrived and Isobella is a Numberblocks fan. Love any toy that helps your child have fun learning about numbers and counting etc. Instructions clear and precise. My daughter loves the Numberblocks TV show so this was a hit straight away. She loved all the different aspects of this toy and unfolding the walls and finding the top-secret number features was intriguing for her. She really liked the 3 figures included. Another great aspect of this toy was the ride-on lift and the slide which my daughter enjoyed immensely. Great entertainment for my daughter flipping the top of the pentagonal table to find spy station and she loved counting the squarer on the hidden doors to see if she knew which Numberblock they matched. Oh the stickers were a hit, all children love stickers. This really sparked my daughters imagination and she would play for ages making up her own stories and adventures. She loved the figures so we will be buying more to add to the set. All parts of this toy were easy for my daughter to hold and use. This certainly did keep her entertained. This was played with on a regular basis. Isobella would play with us in the living room and with friends in her play room. My daughter loved all the different aspects of this toy as has so much to offer. This was definitely age suitable for my daughter. She loved everything about this toy. I loved the fact it helped her with numbers, solving problems and she was learning while having so much fun. Definitely a great toy to have in Nurseries as children would learn and get so much out of this toy. Personally I think this is a bit on the high side regarding price. The quality is fantastic cannot fault it. I would buy this as a gift and already recommended to others. A good fun interactive toy which is educational too. Loved that this toy is educational and my daughter could relate to the Numberblocks due to being such a fan of the TV programme. Belinda Clay – Isobella 4 Years
