This looked amazing and had never seen anything like
this before. The size is quite large and
not easy to fit in all change bags, but thought the concept of this was
brilliant. Arrived well packaged.
Instructions clear and easy to follow.
The idea of having a portable steriliser is great for all mums and dads. Also the innovation in the way it uses new UV
technology is pretty amazing. This is a
very well designed and well-made product and easy to use. This also does the job intended with easy and
quickly too. I have Tommee Tippee
bottles and this fitted fine, although not so sure if would be compatible with
all the bottles on the market. Might be
worth mentioning on the packaging which bottles are compatible to this
steriliser. I love the look of this
steriliser, the fact it is portable and the innovation of using UV technology
to sterilise. However, the one thing
that I would be put off by is the price tag.
A great idea, works well but price is too high. If the price was reduced then I am sure it
would be more appealing to a wider selection of parents as good concept. This is a good product, portable and
certainly handy to take with you on your travels as it does what it says on the
tin. Only downside is the price. Georgina Tyler – Suzanna 5 Months

The
product was larger than I had initially expected, I was expecting it to be
slimmer. While it is definitely portable, it wouldn’t fit into your normal
changing bag along with everything else, you would need to take it separately
or keep it in the car etc. Packaging was
clear, simple and professional looking.
There wasn’t lots of extra paper / cardboard etc. Instructions were clear and easy to
follow. I think the portable steriliser
is a great idea and the fact that it uses new UV technology as opposed to the
traditional water sterilisers is also a great idea as you don’t need to faff
with water. The steriliser is sturdy and I think it would quite easily
withstand drops and bashings (which is always inevitable when running about
with a little one!) The steriliser is also very simple to use. There is just 1 button so you don’t need to
worry about what to push or settings etc.
It sterilises very quickly so is great if you are in a bit of a rush to
feed a screaming baby. I tried the steriliser with both Tommee Tippee and Dr
Brown bottles. The bottles fitted in the
bottom section of the steriliser no problem however neither sets of teats, teat
rings and bottle caps fitted properly into the top half of the steriliser. The Tommee Tippee teats and lids were
slightly too large in circumference for the steriliser meaning I had to jam
them in at a slight angle and while I did manage to get them in and close the
lid, I was a bit concerned they wouldn’t be sterilised properly. I had the opposite problem with the Dr
Brown’s teats and lids, these were slightly too tall so again they had to be
forced in slightly. This problem could
be overcome by sterilising the teat and teat ring together with the bottle in 1
cycle and then running it again for the bottle cap, however this somewhat
negates the "quick” sterilising I mentioned above. The bottom section of the steriliser could
have done with being slightly shorter and the top half slightly longer. While the steriliser uses the latest
technology for sterilising I wouldn’t be willing to pay £199 for it when I
consider the price of larger steam sterilisers that can do 4-6 bottles at a
time. I think if someone was looking for
a portable steriliser for a specific reason (i.e. they travel a lot etc.) then
I would recommend other options such as pre sterilised bottles, tablets etc.
first. However if someone wants a no
fuss option while on the go and is willing to pay £199 for it then the
steriliser would certainly fit the bill as it does what it says on the tin. It’s
not something I would recommend to a new mum as something "handy to have”; they
would really need to have a specific reason to need something portable. I think if someone was looking for a portable

Looks
very stylish and sleek. Great design. The packaging is standard, product packed
well. The instructions were not very clear on the first use of the product. Wasn’t
too sure where the light was to know if it’s charging? Great idea and
concept as there’s nothing else like it on the market, personally I
don’t think this product is worth the price tag. It is not affordable to some parents
orjust for trips away. this
product is a very good idea, I don’t think it’s very robust and feels very
flimsy, like the lid is going to fall off, it needs a ‘click’ lock so it feels
more secure when carrying, also it actually doesn’t take every type of bottle,
I own standard size Dr browns bottles (not wide neck ones) and the steriliser
is not compatible with these at all. As it has the straw inside the bottle
which I’d have to sterilise separately and the bottle itself was too tall. So it’s
only compatible with wide neck bottles not standard size bottles or anti colic
design bottles. The design is very sleek looking but it’s actually not very
robust and feels quite cheaply made. Its fine when it’s placed on the kitchen
side to use and looks great but to take out it feels like it’s going to fall
apart and I wouldn’t be confident carrying it using the carry handle. As when it’s
twisted to lock it doesn’t click or feel secure so feels like it’s going to
come away from the lid. Gemma
