The product seems a good idea in teaching children when to wake up in the mornings.  Also the overall look of the product was great.  I loved the packaging and seemed good as there wasn’t loads of waste.  The packaging suited the whole look of the product.  The girls were very interested in the new light and couldn’t wait to have it set up in their room.  The size of the product is perfect and easy for the girls to hold and carry about.  It seemed ok to programme the time for the light to go green but was a little disappointed that batteries were not included so had to get some in order to set up the green light.  The girls are generally quite good at waiting to get up but they did have off days but this light has definitely helped them understand a bit better.  I wouldn’t say it has changed them waking up later but more that they understand they have to stay in bed till the light goes green, even if they are awake.  Overall the quality of the product is great and great that it is an animal shape instead of being a boring shaped light.  I think it does offer value for money but it would be better if batteries were included.  Overall it is a good product.  If I was to see this product on the shelf I would research it more and read reviews about it but not sure if it is a product I would consider buying. I would recommend this to parents who struggle to keep their children in bed in the mornings.  It is a great looking product which is child friendly looks wise and it also helps children understand the need to stay in bed in the mornings and not wake up so early.  Natalie Kavanagh – Elysia 4 Years and Matilda 2 ½ Years

Our initial impression of this product was that it looked great and we thought the idea was a good one. We had thought about buying something like this.  The packaging was good and sturdy, and told you exactly what the product did on the outside.  The instructions were very well laid out and informative. Toby preferred to play with the owl to start off with.  He liked to cuddle it in bed.  He found it very easy to use and the right size for his age.  It was very easy to program, too easy, Toby soon found out how to turn the owl on green as he likes the colour and thus it became a bit redundant as a wake up alarm.  I think he was a little young to understand the concept; he just liked the light and the colours.  I thought the quality of this product was very good.  We probably would want more from a product of this price (some way of stopping your child changing the time for example).  I would recommend this to others with slightly older children.  Toby enjoyed it more as a toy than a wake up alarm;  I think it may need to be aimed at a slightly older age child. I thought this looked attractive and simple for young children, looks simple to use.  It arrived in clear, visible, understandable packaging with clear and easy to use instructions.  My son really liked the owl and wanted it in bed with him.  This is a great size, not too small or too big. It was very easy to use, maybe too simple as my child figured out the method and so it wasn’t used properly.  My son did understand the concept but as he could program it himself its true purpose was forgotten.  The quality of the packaging and item itself was brilliant.  The only improvement is as mentioned above the programming is too simple and was worked out by my child and we couldn’t use the product as expected.  I would recommend it to others.  The quality, packaging, instructions and general idea of this product are brilliant– what ruined it for us was how simple the programming was and once my child held the button in he changed the timing for the green light to come on and so the true purpose of the product was lost for this simplicity.  Claire Worth –Joshua 4 Years
