Organix Veggie Mini Mix Ups Reviews

Product Tested By Vineta Millere – Alice 1 Year

They arrived in neatly packed in the box. Love the colours and shapes of the veggies. Alice managed to hold them very well. It was great watching her how she was eating them with her little fingers. Alice absolutely enjoyed them. She was even trying to feed other family members with them. I think Alice did like the taste of them as in the following snack times she was showing excitement when I put them in the bowl for her. I did try them, yes. Tasty very tasty they are. Good pack size to take out with you for a healthy snack to give Alice when needed. Absolutely a great veggie snack and these are now one of her favourites. I agree 9 Months upwards is most appropriate age. Don’t think any younger children would be able to help themselves with it. I really like cute shapes, specially the heart ones. I like watching my baby eating them. These are good value for money. Quality great, couldn’t complain about anything. Alice likes them so much so definitely I will need to buy them for her. I would recommend as they are enjoyable for babies to eat and practice their finger food. I am grateful that Alice had a chance to test it. She likes them very much. Now they have become her favourite snack. I like watching Alice how she is trying to pick each shape with her little fingers and put them in mouth. I think this is very cute snack for my baby and we definitely will be buying them. The packaging was a nice bright purple with colourful images of the contents. I think I would be drawn to it if I saw it on a shelf. I was a little concerned of the size of the mix ups as they are perfect choking size but then I have to have faith that a reputable company wouldn’t market something unsafe and they will have had expert advice. I also realised I have to have faith in my daughters eating abilities and have confidence in her skills and that as long as I supervised closely she would be fine. I think it’s a great idea to help develop the pincer grasp for a child and both parent and child confidence in smaller food pieces. The fact that its vegetables is always a good thing. I was surprised at how easy she picked them up, I offered the larger pieces first then the smaller ones and she was fine with both. She appeared to enjoy them, kept eating them when offered and didn’t reject any of them. She was inquisitive at first and gave them a good look before she ate them. She appeared to like the taste of them, kept eating them when offered and didn’t reject any of them or pull a funny face. I did try them and though they were  quite bland in flavour especially in comparison to some other products this brand offers, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing sometimes having a bland item to offer baby is a good thing. The packet was quite big for the contents and I would have preferred a smaller packet. This is a good snack to offer as it is totally different to anything else I have seen on the market and will help develop her pincer grasp. I do feel it does require more supervision than other finger sized snacks. Ideal for 9 Months plus but Annabelle is quite developed in her eating and has always been very confident with foods, I would say there are other babies of the same age as her who would not have managed this snack, so it is down to the individual baby as they vary so much. I would say 10 months is probably a better guide. I liked the size and the colours are really unique, eye catching and offer a different type of snack to everything else on the market. Good value as I imagine it is quite costly to make such small colourful pieces compared to larger finger sized food and the development opportunity your child gets for their pincer grasp is unique. The colour, size and shape are all unique and look good, they dissolve in your mouth easily but with an initial crunch offering different texture for baby to explore. I would buy these as it is the only thing I have seen in a snack bag of this size which helps with pincer grasp development.  I would recommend for the same reasons. I was a little worried to begin with at the size of the product and the risk of choking but we tried it and my daughter was fine and she showed me her eating skills are much more developed than I give her credit for. She could pick them up straight away without any help and she seemed to enjoy them. They are a really unique snack and I would buy them. Sarah Goodwill-Hall – Annabelle 10 Months

Product Tested By Louisa Cullen – Arthur 11 Months

Louisa Awarded The Veggie Mini Mix Ups 4.5/5

Bright colourful packaging and looked fun shapes and could not wait to get Arthur to try these. What a great idea designed to help develop the pincer grip and great colours and shapes for Arthur to enjoy. Very easy for my son to hold and enjoy. Arthur certainly liked these and every time offered he enjoyed munching away. I did not try these myself.  Packet size ideal to keep in bag and take out so when my son needed a snack they were ready to give him. Ideal veggie snack, and certainly a favourite with Arthur.  They are natural, he seemed to love them and enjoyed eating them, so could not ask for more. For Arthur ideal for his little hands and easy for him to eat and enjoy. I loved the idea of these cute veggie snacks and good healthy snack for my son. I personally do think these are a little expensive for the pack size. Quality is excellent and would expect this from such a well known brand. I would buy these but not as a regular snack as feel they are a bit pricey.  However, ideal to purchase once a week and great fun to take out on our travels.  I would recommend as my son enjoyed these, healthy snacks and easy for him to hold and eat. Arthur could easily hold these and feed himself and certainly enjoyed the taste as each time we opened pack they would be eaten very quickly.  Loved the concept, design, shape and the fact they are healthy too.  Louisa Cullen – Arthur 11 Months
