Initially I was skeptical that Kirsten would be able to use this item as she lacked co-ordination and balance. The scooter was very well packaged and there was little chance of the item being damaged, I also thought it was small enough for people who have bought it to carry it home on public transport. It was very easy to assemble; it only took about ten minutes. We did need to put the wheels on twice because we put them on back to front! I did have concerns initially but these were unfounded. It is recommended from age 2 and suitable as such. My 2 year old did not take long to learn how to use it and the 4 wheels make it very sturdy. It is wonderful and can be used on the carpet, grass and pavement – thus making it suitable for all weather and all occasions. Kirsten is happy to play with it for hours on end. It has definitely helped her balance and gross motor coordination. She has also used it to push her toys around and tries to teach her doll how to use it. She uses it as a balancing tool – finding different ways to balance on it – one footed and 2 footed. She also uses it to push her toys around. I think the quality is great – very robust – lovely colors and nothing for small fingers to get stuck in. I already have recommended it to friends and will continue to do so. Fantastic product! Love the way you can change the wheel alignment as the child grows! Brilliant for all aspects of development! Caroline James – Kirsten 2 Years & 4 Months

The packaging is a serviceable box with a carry handle; it comes complete with a useful ‘toolbox’ containing all the bits you need to put the scooter together along with the instructions. It took us a little while to assemble the scooter but still not too long. The diagrams in the instructions were a little brief on the wheels; we did get a little confused with those. I had no concerns with this scooter, other than my 4-year old daughter wanted to go backwards to 4 wheels when she has been using a 2-wheeled scooter. I convinced her to do 3 as a compromise. The age recommended for this scooter is fine, although I do think the 2-wheeled option should have a brake added. I’m not sure this would stimulate my daughter’s imagination but I do think it’s a useful toy and the fact that it folds up helps for those “I’m too tired” moments. The scooter is great for a child first learning and then move faster than there little legs will take them when they are in 4-wheel mode. As the child gets older and you reduce the wheels, it also helps with both coordination (steering) and balance. The scooter seems of good quality although the lever to pull can require a very string finger to get it out of its locking position. I know this will be to stop little fingers doing it unintentionally, or to stop it working loose by accident, but I did feel it was mighty stiff whenever I’ve tried to use it. I do think it offers value for money but I probably wouldn’t buy it as we bought a micro scooter already and feel it’s far more fun as it’s more steerable. I would recommend this to family and friends as good value-for-money. Overall a good little scooter, with a great adaptability for different ages or abilities. First impressions were that it was funky looking, but I didn’t understand how it would be easy for a 2 year old to use! Not lots of packaging, lightweight and easy to open and it took us about twenty minutes to put it together. Excellent clear instructions, I understood them as did my partner! Excellent playable context, she can play on this scooter for about 30 minutes at a time and anyone with 2 year olds will agree that’s a long time for a 2 year old to stay interested in one thing. It really has helped with Emily’s development skills, I was really shocked at how much balance she has acquired and how she picked up the skill of keeping upright and moving the scooter all on her own without us showing her. The quality is excellent, we have kept it in the garden and she goes on it all the time, we’ve had it about 10 weeks now and it’s still in excellent condition. I think it’s very reasonably priced for what it is, defiantly would consider buying one, my friends popped round to mine with her 2 year old and since she has been out and bought her little girl one as she loved ours! Overall, we love it! Lauren Searle – Emily 2 Years & 6 Months
