Small but well made. Nicely packaged. However wasn’t convinced by how well it would work. My Children did like the design.  The different designs were well thought out and the children enjoyed trying each one. They loved creating fun scenes using these rollers. Really easy to use, just pick up and roll. Didn’t need much explaining. My children really enjoyed these and kept them entertained and shared the pictures between them. Due to going on holiday they haven’t used it as much however they’ve played with it more than a few times. Picking them up whenever we get play dough out in place of previously chosen items. These have been played with at home. The children loved that they could make lots of pictures. I like it because it can print things and I can draw things on to the picture after. Easy to use, kept them occupied for a good length of time with the different pictures/designs. Appeared well made, not broken despite use and were easy to clean afterwards. Although we really liked the set I’m not convinced that I would pick it off a shelf/online for £19.99. I would buy these, however if I’d not tried it before I don’t think I would pay the price for it. I would recommend as a good toy and my children enjoyed using these. This kept them entertained for a good time and has been reused lots by them. It encourages them to be creative and gives a start point for their drawing/making. It was a good toy that encouraged them to be more creative and gave a focus to their play. The toy appears robust, easy to hold and use. Nathan Gregory  – Frederick 5 Years & Clara 4 Years

The item was nicely packaged. These are easy to use and have very nice pictures on. My son really enjoyed making the fun scenes and how easy the rollers are to use. These are really easy to use, normally my child gets frustrated with things like this but he loves them and was very pleased with himself for being able to do it by himself. The rollers kept my son entertained for around 1 hour, he loved the patterns he was able to make. He has played with the item 3 times since we have received these. Mainly played with these on the dining table. He loved the different patterns and that none of the playdough got stuck in the rollers. I think the rollers are really cute and very bright and vibrant. They have lovely patterns printed on them. These are well made and durable so will not break easily. I’m not sure many would pay £19.99 for the item as I feel it is a bit pricey and I think given the choice kids would always pick something else over these for the price. I would think that £10 and under would be a better price. I would buy these and I think they would be great for a nursery/school setting just at a lower price. I would recommend these. These rollers are lovely, easy to use and clean. They have lovely vibrant colours and happy pictures printed. They’re easy to use by the children independently. I think this product could do really well if priced lower. Donna Benjamin – Isaac 8 Years

The rollers were packaged nicely and looked like they were good quality and in attractive colours. It was nice that there were different ways to use the rollers with a design around the roller as well as on the end. The colours chosen were nice and appeal well to children. My daughter enjoyed using the rollers with her play dough but once she had used each roller once she didn’t seem to be interested in using the rollers again during the play dough session. My daughter was able to use the rollers well to create the scenes and didn’t need any help to do so. She enjoyed creating the scenes once each time she played with play dough but then didn’t go back to using them again that session. So it seemed she felt that once she had used each roller once, she was done with it. So they didn’t keep her entertained for very much time really. She used them once each time we played with play dough which was about once per week. She plays with play dough at home on the table so that is where she used them. She liked the characters depicted in the scenes most, I think because they weren’t all animals you come across all the time it made them more entertaining. She likes otters so that one was her favourite! I thought they were a nice design and made well. Again, I liked the characters and that they were slightly more unusual animals so not ones children necessarily come across all the time (apart from the bee maybe). The additional small designs on the ends of the rollers were nice additions meaning children could add to the main image too. The rollers are great quality, nice and smooth with no sharp edges. The designs were well done and it was easy for children to use the rollers to create a clear picture. I think being good value depends on the child. As I mentioned, my daughter only really used these once each time she played with play dough and not as much as other play dough toys we own. So for us, it would have been an expensive toy for the amount of time she spent playing with them. It works out at £5 per roller which seems like a lot of money for a toy which is essentially quite limited in ways it can be used. I wouldn’t buy them as I feel like it’s a lot of money for 4 rollers which, although well-designed and well-made, are limited in their use and something which some children may use once and then discard. At a lower price I think they are a nice toy and a different addition to play dough play but at the price they are, I wouldn’t recommend them to others. The rollers are nicely designed and great quality. The scenes are entertaining and the characters are fun. It’s the price which makes me give it a lower score as, for me, it doesn’t fit with how much the rollers were used and therefore doesn’t make it great value. These were a fun addition to our play dough toys collection and my daughter did enjoy creating the scenes but didn’t reuse them within a play dough play session and didn’t use them all each time she played. The animals chosen were interesting and depicted in a fun way and the added images on the ends of each roller were nice for children to add to their scenes – they also meant the roller needed using in a different way so good for practicing a different motor skill. I felt they were expensive for what they were so a lower price point would make me more likely to buy them or recommend them to others. Gemma Roberts – Jessica 4 Years
