I was interested in the concept of the product and wondered how my daughter would react to it as we don’t have anything similar. I liked the idea of having something to customise a scooter and thought it seemed a fun way of doing it. The packaging was about as minimal as it could be which is a good thing. I didn’t check if it was recyclable which would be preferable. You can see the product which would be good if buying it in a shop. I actually fitted it without looking at the instructions. It probably would have been a little quicker to fit if I had! However it is fairly easy to fit anyway. The instructions are clear and helpful. The product is very sturdy and durable. I can see it lasting a long time. It appears to be made from good quality materials and looks impressive. Easy to clean. I would expect to pay £10 – £15 for this product. I think it offers value for money compared to some other scooter accessories. My 5 year old son has already requested one! The thing about this product is that it really sparks a child’s imagination. My daughter’s scooter is no longer a scooter it’s a pony! She pretends she is riding a horse now when she is on it! My daughter loves cats so she would like that. Maybe a Hello Kitty one or a Minions one. I think it would make a great, unique gift for all little scooter fans. I cannot fault this product. Colourful, cute character. Good size. My toddler was very excited to open it. Very easy to open packaging. Protected the product. Allowed you to see it clearly. This is very simple to fit as you just open it up over the handlebar of the scooter. The diagram was clear and easy to follow. It is solid enough that it would withstand bumps and knocks but soft enough that it wouldn’t hurt if they were to fall on it. The design was lovely to and particularly went well with my daughter’s pink scooter. This is expensive as an accessory as it costs nearly the same as my child’s scooter. However, it is well made, looks great and has received lots of compliments. It is an excellent idea and my daughter has been out on her scooter more because she wants to ‘ride her pony’. However, I wouldn’t be willing to pay the RRP but if it was in the sale I would definitely purchase it as she really loves it and has told so many people about her pony who she has nicknamed Lola. Perhaps a spotty dog or a stripy cat design would be good idea. I would recommend as it is robust, easy to fit and lots of people have commented on how lovely it is. This is a great product but I do think it could be a little cheaper. Adored by my daughter, this is a robust, fun novelty accessory that has made her want to ride her scooter more often. Was not overly impressed as we could not get this onto the scooter. Even my partner struggled with this. The packaging is good arrived well packed and safely. Instructions are clear enough but we did encounter a few problems when fitting. It looked colourful, nice design our only issue was the fitting onto the scooter. This is well made and good quality. I am sure if it fitted properly then my daughter would have loved it. Based on our experience we would not purchase but it is a novel idea. Katie Roebuck – Holly 6 years
