This was my daughter’s favourite out of this range. The texture and flavour of this meal was beautiful. A really moist, appetising pot of food. The salmon could really be detected when tasted and the spinach was very visible making the dish appear very attractive. Probably the tastiest out of this range. I often did heat the product up so it was warm. However, if I was out and about and didn’t have the opportunity to warm the meal up it was still eaten. The lid on then pot didn’t always stay on so if the meal wasn’t finished then I would worry that it would leak out. The quality of the product was excellent and I felt very reassured that I was giving my child good quality food that was healthy for her. The product offered flavour, generous portions and foods could actually be identified within the meal. The meal when warmed up smelt fantastic. Excellent. My baby girl loved it. I was reassured she was getting healthy and nutritious food and the fact she ate it with relish after dismissing other baby food products, it was peace of mind for me. Packaging looks good, has all nutritional info on. The food had a smoother texture than what I thought it would be. The taste is good and you can serve it warm or cold, it’s a good neutral flavour to try first. Great that it’s all organic and no added salt or sugar. Easy way to make sure he is getting a balanced diet with none of the bad stuff! Very handy to take out for the day, good packaging so can use straight from the pot. Good quality, clearly labelled, easy to use. Good to start weaning but I personally think it has to smooth a consistency for a 7 month old. But I have already brought this product since testing it. I do normally cook all my own baby food but this is very good to have as a stand-by. Great packaging, no junk ingredients and good value. Never used baby foods with my first child but this is a good product and makes life easier when you have two children! Anne Rice – Baby Dominic 9 Months

The packaging suggested it looked like a quality product and I was very impressed that the food was healthy, organic and there was a full list of the ingredients on the back. The colour and style of the packaging would catch my eye in the supermarket. It looks like a quality, wholesome product compared with other baby foods on the market. The combination of flavours and ingredients are also superior to other baby foods and therefore I would be more likely to buy the product knowing it contained high grade food. The product is organic and wholesome which some baby foods can’t claim. Plum baby food was devised by a mother of three and this ‘home made feel’ to the product definitely comes across unlike a lot of manufactured looking baby food products. The taste of this product was true to its title and it tasted very good, very much of cheddar. However, the texture was very dry and ‘sticky’ in the mouth. I did find with this particular meal that I had to add some water to the pot and stir as it was very dry and ‘set’ in the pot unlike the other meals in this range. There is a full list of natural ingredients made up of percentages on the back of the packaging so you can see exactly how the meal is made up. There is also a nutritional information list on the back. The product does not contain any preservatives, additives, salt, sugar or GM ingredients and is completely organic. There probably isn’t a healthier product on the market for babies. The packaging is beautiful and very eye catching. The use of the colour ‘plum’ which itself is a deep earthy colour evokes quality, wholesome, good food. The subtle use of colour and style of writing on the packaging looks professional and the pictures of brightly coloured foods on the front looks inviting and nutritious. It is plain to see what age group the meal is aimed at and the instructions on the product are clear. I did heat the product up so it was warm but also had to add water to it. The lid on the pot didn’t always stay on so if the meal wasn’t finished then I would worry that it would leak out if I was out and about. The quality of the product was good and I felt very reassured that I was giving my child good quality food that was healthy for her. The product offered generous portions and foods could actually be identified within the meal. The meal when warmed up did smell very good. The product is a little more expensive than a lot of other baby food brands on the market but this is a small price to pay for good quality food products that are so important to a growing child. The product does offer excellent value for money and I am pleased to be able to have the opportunity to purchase a good organic wholesome baby food product. I was reassured my daughter was getting healthy and nutritious food but would buy other flavoured meals from this range before buying this product as I feel it is not as easy to eat. she ate it with relish after dismissing other baby food products, it was peace of mind for me.
