It looks like a quality product.  Unusual metal bottle that could easily be recycled.  Clear, simple labelling.  You could eaily pour oil from the bottle, although I did have a tendency to pour too much into my hands.  This also applied easily.  It did take a lot of massage to fully absorb this oil but this was a good excuse for some mum and baby time!  This has a delicate fragrance of various essential oils.  Never caused any allergic reaction or skin irritation.  Hope loved having the oil massaged into her skin.  Would use this when had time to give Hope a lovely massage and spend mum and baby time together.  During the test this oil did not improve a couple of dry patches on Hope’s skin, but did not make them any worse either.  Good value for money as a little goes a long way.  This would also make a lovely gift.  A lovely delicately scented oil for pampering baby with a long massage.  Nicola Ward – Baby Hope 5 Months

Looks good – very modern packaging in a brushed steel bottle.  Looks expensive.  The packaging is good, but when you unscrew the lid, there’s no dropper top and the oil inside is very runny, so it has a habit of going absolutely everywhere.  You try to pour a tiny amount out, but it’s impossible.  The consistency of the oil is very thin, which made it difficult keeping it on your hands without it running onto the floor.  Once you apply to the skin this was very easy to massage into the skin.  Also a little tiny amount goes a very long way.  I’m sure the oil was absorbed, but my baby looked very greasy when I put him in his nightclothes, after quite a long massaging session.  It is a stange thing to say, but it is a very, very greasy oil!  This oil is scented with lavender, geranium and camomile and you can smell them both, but not overpowering.  A very pleasant smell and it certainly helped relax me while massging my son.  I also tried this on my 2 year old, but she outlined she did not like it as it made her itchy, so this might have been a mild reaction.  My son suffers with very dry skin and I noticed that the dry skin worsened having used the oil for several days, which is the opposite to what I expected.  Toby loves being massaged, so was happy to be pampered.  He smiled and coo-ed during it and fell asleep soon afterwards.  He seemed very content.  Alas, this oil did not suit my children.  Both of my children are very fair skinned and have sensitive skin, so this may be the reason why my daughter reacted slightly and my son’s got dry patches worsened during the oil’s use.  I certainly feel this is good value for money.  The bottle is only small, but a tiny amount goes a very long way – so it will last for ages.  Also good value because of the brushed steel bottle container, it looks trendy and definitely looks more expensive than £8.  Design improvement to ensure the bottle has a kind of dropper inserted into the top to prevent the oil spilling out of the bottle.  You need such small amounts, a lid that requires you to shake the bottle to get 1 drop out is what is requried – especially when the oil is so runny.  I would not be purchasing this item myself purely because my children’s skin had reaction to the oil.  But I WOULD buy this as a present for friend’s children as the product looks, and smells really good.  I have already recommended this to a friend who has a newborn baby  and wanted to know of a good baby oil to purchase.  Lovely smell, easy to massage with, but problem with controlling amount of oil coming out of the bottle each time use.  Tracey Kifford – Toby & Milie-Mae Aged 5 Months & 2 Years

This is a good quality product. The oil is easily applied to the skin and absorbs into the skin very well. My daughter loved the smell and the product did not irritate her sensitive skin or eczema. It did not help her eczema but didn’t make it worse either. It is a bit expensive but a nice treat. I quite like it and I would buy it. I would definitely recommend this product. It is very nice oil which doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. Overall it is a bit expensive but nice for a treat especially if you have a baby who likes to be massaged.  Sharon Smith –Jessica Aged 3 years
