A great big box full of everything you need to make the Simbrix. I think it is great, easy to carry around and everything sectioned out. Instructions very easy to understand you could even know what to do just from the information on the box. The pieces were a little fiddly at first but soon got the hang of making the different pictures. They love all the emojis so they loved being able to copy and also create their own designs. My daughter found constructing 2D and 3D designs a little trickier than the flat shapes but loved the way it made them almost come to life. We followed the templates in the instruction book. She loved anything colourful and loved the rainbows and the love hearts. Definitely sparked her creativity side and we created different faces and coloured hearts. This has been played with over a few days and then has been played again when her friends come over. Mostly played at home and once took it to grandparents house using the carry case it all came in. Her older sister also loved creating designs and we all did it together. The carry case is great as so much easier having everything in one place. Would keep her entertained for a good few hours. Once all the Simbrix bricks have been used and she wants to continue play I will buy more. She loved the ease of just connecting the brix together and not having to iron or get them wet to make them stick. I liked that it brought out her creativity. 5 years plus is a great age for this toy. Great quality no issues. Definitely worth the price. I would buy this. It is great easy to use activity and I love the fact it is all together in an easy to carry box. I would recommend and I know a few people that would love this. Great product easy to use and brings out the child’s creativity. Such a brilliant product, we loved the fact everything was together in a handy carry case so it was portable to take around with you. It brought out my daughters creativity as she loved designing different pictures to create. The instructions were easy to use and we loved the fact they just clicked together and didn’t have time use water or heat to bond them into a design. We will definitely buy more in the future. I was quite apprehensive in thinking how will this hold the attention of a five year old but I was so surprised at the amount of fun he had with this. Brilliant, as like a tool box for children with all the different coloured Simbrix in. I Liked how colourful it was and the instructions which also included a QR code. Really easy to navigate and liked the QR code to help get more ideas. Due to my child’s age this made it an activity to do with an adult if he wanted to try and make a certain design or he was able to play alone and freestyle the designs. He found the pieces extremely easy to hold and use. Not very intuitive, more instruction led but very good all the same. He enjoyed being able to make 3D designs is such a good idea. Used the website with a parent to build designs. He completed one of the original templates. My son made various designs including a flower and his name. Did spark his creativity. This was used daily to begin with then probably around 3 times a week after. Mostly played with in the family living room. Both parents enjoyed making designs with Theodore. Our 20 month son also tried to join in and play with them. My niece and sister also joined in the fun. The case was very handy keeping all the parts separated and ensuring that all pieces were kept safe. My son also was able to take it to my sisters to play with my niece. This did keep my son entertained. My son enjoyed us playing with him and watching the ideas on life become real creations. I think with that one pack we have enough to continue with the enjoyment. We wouldn’t look to expand unless all creations were kept. If a frame was available to keep creations then we would purchase that and then possibly more. My son enjoyed being able to use his imagination but also follow instructions and create something as a family. I liked that it was all confined into one small case and didn’t take up loads of room. Your child can create designs which you can keep. The age group 5 years plus was good if they wanted to do a few designs and freestyle however I think if they wanted to do but designs they need an adult. This is very good quality. This is good value. I think this is fun for all ages so it isn’t something you would play with at one age and grow out of. For £29.99 it’s something we will keep and play for many years. I would buy this as its creative, uses a child’s imagination, can take away with you on family holidays or to friends house and you know the children will have fun. I really would recommend. Think it’s amazing the way they slide together as stated above it uses their imagination but also their coordination skills. I would buy this for a birthday present for Theodores friends. Hours of fun which is completely mess free as they click together and don’t need any water, glue or heat to make them stick. Very colourful and attractive packaging and the fact you can use again and again. My child really did enjoy this and we all did as a family. Amanda Perkins – Theodore 5 Years

Very aesthetically pleasing. It was clear from the outer packaging what the intention of the product was and my little girl loved the colours! Very good idea, it has been a little difficult for my 6 year old to use the little pieces as they were a little fiddly. There were some bits we had to Google, e.g. how to use the clear sticks but the instructions are clear on how to put the product together. My little girl did find it difficult to both hold the pieces and make sure the right connector was matched to the other piece. Maybe plastic tweezers would help with this? Although she found it difficult, my little girl has loved playing with the Simbrix! She cannot do it without an adult present but has been able to grasp some of the more simpler designs e.g. Love heart. She has found making 2D and 3D designs challenging and at times frustrating. But with some help and encouragement she has stuck to it and made her intended design. The templates in the instruction book were too small for her to follow, it would have been better if you got a handful of life size templates to follow. I think this would have enabled her to be more independent with her designs. We used the website which was much better, I then printed some templates from the website which was even better. My little girl preferred the printouts. My daughter did not complete any of the original templates supplied with this toy. This did spark her creativity. However, there was so much choice on the website that whatever she wanted to create there was mostly a template for. Or she mixed and matched some templates into one creation. This has been her toy of choice most of the time! Occasionally we have had to say no as she cannot do this alone without an adult present. This was played with at the dining room table. She was unable to do this without a parent or older sibling present. The adults/older siblings enjoyed making creations with the Simbrix just as much as my child! The carry case makes it easy to take on your travels. It was very well designed and robust! Most similar sets we have had have been a little flimsy and we have often had to clean little beads etc., up from the floor after the packaging has come unclipped! But this has not happened with this product! This did keep my daughter entertained. We have already looked at purchasing more Simbricks and sets! We have also purchased this for a family member as a gift! My daughter liked seeing the design turn from little bricks to a finished product! She was amazed that all the little bits made such a fab design! I liked the robustness of the packaging! As a parent cleaning up beads, glitter etc is a royal pain the bum! But, the packaging is so robust yet so pleasing to the eye! Age suitability good. However, there could have been some things that made it easier for her to use the product independently e.g. plastic tweezers to hold the bricks so she could see that the placement was correct. Excellent quality. Good value but would be better with the introduction of some plastic tweezers or similar and A4 size templates included. I have already purchased this product for a family member as a gift. I would recommend for all the reasons above. If they included some plastic tweezers or similar and A4 templates this would have been top marks. Overall, this is an excellent product! Aesthetically pleasing and super fun to create designs!
