I loved the facial design of the sloth. Very clear to see in its boxed packaging. I think it’s a great idea similar to a number of other baby cry soothers on the market. Babies often like white noise and lullabies to help sooth them back to sleep. Instructions were clear with easy to follow pictures and written Information. Easy to get it playing white noise or lullabies. But there is no play back function on the voice recorder section. So you have to wait the full 20 min cycle and then wait for it to go off in cry activation mode to see if it has recorded your message as you want it. Very easy to attach to the cot and hasn’t fallen off. The Velcro feet are very cute. It goes off for loud cries or loud sounds which I think is good as some babies have more of a shout like cry. General selection of songs was nice; I wish there were a few more bars of music in the lullabies as repeats very quickly. But has a soothing tone. The general selection of sounds available was good.  As commented above, there is no play back function on the voice recorder section. So you have to wait the full 20 min cycle and then wait for it to go off in cry activation mode to see if it has recorded your message as you want it. Also you need to get very close to it to record the message or it is very quiet when it plays back. I think my son found it soothing and it calmed him as much as other self soothing techniques do. I used the lullabies when he was initially going to sleep. Then white noise during the night. This did give me confidence I could sleep well as if a child reaches loud cries then it kicks back in. I used this daily. Mainly used this in the bedroom at night. The sloth design is very cute and cuddly. He could easily become a favourite toy when he is older. Liked you could take the cover off to wash and washes well and stays soft. Appears a high quality product. Well made. Lovely soft material. Good value as it’s reasonably priced in comparison to some of the other baby soothing toys. Like myhummy etc. I really like the sloth design. He has a very cute face and lovely soft material. I would buy this. I would recommend.  I think this is a good cry soothing toy. That has the potential to grow with a child. Easy to attach to the cot. Easy to wash. Easy to use. I would improve it in 3 ways:1) longer music on the lullabies before it repeats 2) a play back option on the voice recorder without having to wait the full 20mins before you can hear it 3) the ability to change the volume of the sound up and down. Ruth Smith – Zander 3 Months

Well packaged, looked stylish and had nice colours. Good instructions also printed on the packaging. Very good, I like that there are several sound options to choose from. Good instructions. It was easy to set up but the activation to go off when the baby cries isn’t always successful. Very easy to attach to cot and very secure. I have not found the Cry-activated smart sensor 100% effective. The heart beat sound is his favourite but the music is also very calm and soothing for my baby. He enjoys the nature sounds also and prefers this to the music. I did not use the record your own message option as I find it stimulates him more to wake when I have spoken via our baby monitor. My baby enjoys listening to the toy to go to sleep however it flashes a blue light when set up to respond to his cries which he finds over stimulating and this stops him from going back to sleep.  The most comforting sound for my baby was the heart beat sound.  It would have given me confidence I could sleep well if it weren’t for the flashing blue light. I use this at night. Mainly used in his cot at night.  I use it when placing him to bed and he is placed in bed awake and drifts of nicely to sleep. I like the fact this can become a cuddly toy for the future. I really like how easily it attaches to the crib but also not too bulky and is still comfortable for him to snuggle with, unlike the other monitor he had. I have not had to take the cover off to wash it yet but a nice option to have.  This is a good quality product. Out of all the different toy soothers we have used this is by far the best for quality and value for money. I liked the quality of the product, ease of use and ability to attach to the cot.  Also that its light weight so if my child did pull it down it would not hurt my child.  It’s also very aesthetically pleasing. I would buy this as it was easy to use, attached well to the cot, offered pleasing soothing sounds for my baby and was light enough that he could enjoy it as a teddy as well as a soother.  I would recommend as out of all the soothing soft toys we have tried this is by far the best in terms of quality, ease of use and sound options.  The only reason I have not given 5 is due to the fact the blue light flashing is over stimulating, but, if you set it up not to respond to your babies’ cries it doesn’t flash. The product was easy to use, comforting to my son and aesthetically pleasing.  My child enjoyed the sounds; it was nice and light so felt like a soft toy unlike others on the market which are heavy and bulky.  I can image my child snuggling up to this toy as he gets older.  Katie Kaminski – Leo 11 Months

Lovely soft toy with a really lovely design. Shame the demonstration button didn’t work and it needed new batteries straight away. It’s a great idea, especially if it gives me a little time or allows Harry to learn to self sooth. Simple and clear instructions. Really simple to change batteries, record a message and set up. Once attached to cot very secure but a little high because it attaches to the top of the cot. If it had a single Velcro strap it would be easier to move down the cot. It wasn’t sensitive enough to start every time Harry cried, perhaps because he was at a distance in the cot. Usually it took a few cries before it activated and by that point Harry needed cuddles. Lovely, very soothing and great for settling him down for afternoon naps. The nature sound is good for daytime naps but quite loud at night-time. I did record my own message but it didn’t always activate. I also think Harry just wants to be cuddled a lot more than most babies. It was a bit too loud and didn’t activate early enough. It was much more effective during the day. He found the white noise sound the most comforting. I think if I tried this for longer it might but it was quite loud and Harry preferred his dream sheep because of the red light in it. We used this every night and daytime naps. Mainly used this in his cot. Definitely will be a lovely toy for the future.  It is very aesthetically pleasing, soft and child friendly. Love this feature and so good to be able to take cover off and wash it.  Not washed it yet. Great quality, hopefully it also wears well. I think it is good value but I do think it would benefit from having a light in it. I love the idea of being child activated but it didn’t always work with Harry and I would hear him crying first. I would not buy this purely because I think that it needs volume control, and a soft red night light. It also needs to be more sensitive. I would recommend it is a nice product that would work for most babies. Lovely idea, design and concept but the sensor isn’t sensitive enough and additional features are needed to beat other sleep aides like volume, night light etc. Really nice to be able to wash completely though.
