The bright,
colourful box with the added attraction of a picture of the pigs and the wolf,
immediately took the interest of the children and both were keen to play! A
sturdy box which was brightly coloured and attracted the attention of both the
children. Inside the box, the contents
were neatly arranged and did not require any real preparation prior to
commencing the game. A Really easy and straight forward concept. It took a couple of minutes to read the
instructions, set up the game, explain the concept to the children and we were
off! Both children understood what they
needed to do to play the game. However,
it definitely took the 4 year old slightly longer to work out each challenge
and the 5 year old was much quicker in finding a solution. The board kept
changing and as soon as a solution was found, a new challenge was set. A great idea to have two modes night and day
as this provided some change and definitely kept their interest. I think the
game was a lot more challenging for the four year old and she definitely had to
work harder at finding a solution to the puzzles. The 5 year old was much quicker at completing
the tasks and we moved through each puzzle quite quickly. The game gets the child to think about a
solution and to physically try out their thoughts. In addition it helps to develop their
hand/eye co-ordination. Playing this
game together also encourages the individuals to share and wait their turn! The
first few games are much simpler and this allows your child to develop their
confidence in finding a solution more easily. They can simply use the game to
role play with the pigs and wolf and re-tell the story. The pieces are really
good quality and solid and would not be easily broken. I loved the picture book that comes with the
game that tells the story of the ‘Three Little Pigs.’ It is quite expensive,
however I feel it is more of an investment.
I would definitely get this game for a child that is 3 as it will grow
with them and as they get older they will be able to find a solution to the harder
puzzles. I really liked the picture book that comes with the game. Before we even started playing the game I
told them the story of the 3 little pigs to set the scene, which kept their
interest even longer. Even though it
states it is a one player, it is easy to play with two children and to keep
alternating between both players. The
game does require constant adult input to continually set each task. For a
younger child, yes, as it will grow with them.
However my 5 year old was able to work out all the challenges after
playing it with him on a few occasions.
I am not sure how many times he will want to keep repeating the challenges.
I would recommend in particular to those with children that are 3 to 4 years of
age. I think it’s a great educational
game for this age. A unique educational game with a fun theme to keep the
children interested. Clare Kerslake – Tom & Aimee – 5 & 4 Years

Good
quality and interested to see how the game works. Colourful and fun box with cartoon
picture and image of the actual game. It took me a couple of games to
understand the different concepts of playing with and without wolf and when the
pigs needed to be put under the houses.
Instructions are clear and colourful. This game is aimed at 3-6 year
olds and I have to say my 4 year old was not able to play at all in the proper format;
it was far too advanced for her to grasp. My 4 year old found others ways to engage
with the game for short periods of time.
My 7 year old loved the game and it kept her occupied and stimulated for
a long period of time. I think it helped develop the imagination of my 4 year
old and she also tried to set up the play pieces as per the diagram so this
taught her following instruction skills.
It stimulated my 7 yr. olds problem solving skills. It’s too complex for
a 4 year old so she did lose interest. My 7 year old found it stimulating and
did not lose interest. My 4 year old liked playing out the story of the 3
little pigs with the pieces. Both the instruction manual and pieces are of high
quality and look to last a long time. At £19.99 I do feel this is highly priced
for a board game. The price is a bit on the high side. In my opinion it is
aimed at the wrong age group and would be better aged 5+. I don’t see why they
capped the age at 6 it was perfect for my 7 year old and I could imagine older
children and adults enjoying it too. It is a good concept and of high quality
so I would certainly recommend it but not for 3 and 4 year olds. It’s a great game;
it’s just aimed at the wrong age group in my opinion. It’s a superb game, made
of high quality and lots of challenging games however I think it should have
been aimed at a higher age bracket. Clare Bennett – Katie & Kiera – 4 &

A colourful
game that looked inviting and that children would want to play. Excellent
packaging – the exterior box was colourful and made of high quality material. I
had no problem understanding the concept of the game and explaining it to
Lilly. The concept was really easy to explain. We liked the concept of
the game and in fact, the whole family wanted to play it. The game was multi-dimensional so it
maintained interest. The game would definitely help with development
especially, as the pieces are brightly coloured. This certainly kept Lilly entertained. The game pieces could be played with without
the game being formally played. Excellent quality – had no concern about Lilly
handling any of the pieces. There were
no rough edges and overall, it is just a lovely game. It is possibly expensive
and I would not necessarily purchase it in a shop unless, I had read the
reviews beforehand. We liked everything
about this game. I would probably buy it
as a gift for other family members. I would recommend. A thoroughly enjoyable
and well-thought out game that the whole family can play. Cindy Mason-Morris –
