Looked very colourful and eye catching
when arrived. As mum of 7 kids I think this would have been better in a
zip bag rather than a box. Instructions very easy to understand how to play the
game. My daughter certainly understood the concept of the game. This has had
lots of attention from my child, and her imagination has run wild. This is my Childs
favourite game; it had her attention and teaches great hand eye coordination.
This game is very simple and effective. This game has been played in quite a
few ways colour matching counting etc. its good quality cardboard and very
colourful. Great value for money, anything that gets that much attention from
one child is great value. I wouldn’t say we dislike anything about the game,
but I do think it would be good in a zip bag instead of a box. I’m
looking to buy another set as this one has been well played with. I
already have recommended and school are also looking at getting one for yr1
class. My Childs favourite game it goes everywhere with us. This game has been everywhere with us,
from friends and family and even to school. None of her other games have
had this much attention or kept her occupied and happy for as long as this

Love it. Colourful, cheeky, will very
much appeal to my daughter! Packaging Great. Small, so easy to store.
Colourful. My daughter picked it up straight away. She won’t stop asking to
play it! She easily understood the concept of the game. Quick explanation and
we were playing. It is what it is! Keeps her attention long enough to finish
playing the game. Sometimes she likes to get it out just to play with and not
play the actual rules. Helps with taking turns, not cheating (!). Definitely a game she plays without losing
interest. She likes to get it out just to play with them and find her own
matches etc. What I would expect from orchard toys. Robust and easy to play
with. Has withstood my 15 month old running off with some bits occasionally! Think
orchard toys are always great value for money. Nothing we did not like about
this game. I would purchase and I have
since bought more from orchard toys as well.

Good
packaging, nice quality and pictures are appealing to my son. Packaging is of a
good thickness that can withstand an eager 2 year old and had great colours. The
game makes sense and is a nice re hash of pairs with an edge that my son
enjoyed being monsters. My 2 year old played a basic version matching wellies
and putting wellies on the monster where as I could play a more detailed game
with the 6 year old that involved memory and competition so has a good range of
use. It was enjoyable and has a learning aspect but was met with slight
disappointment by me and my niece since the wellies didn’t actually smell. With
pictures of strawberries and bananas on the wellies and the name of the game we
assumed the card would have some scent maybe like the scratch and sniff card
games from years ago. This game I feel is great for development of memory and
also right down to the basics of matching and understanding colours. Great
development tool that stays fun for children. Simple enough for my son to play,
but due to the nature of it being a
mental game I don’t feel it can be played for long periods of time as it would
become tiresome and repetitive. We have made a few games depending on the age of
the child playing which shows how versatile the idea really is. This toy is
good quality and although made of card it is very heavy duty thick card made to
withstand fair use. The colour printing is vibrant and shiny. Very good quality.
I feel for card this game may seem a little expensive especially as I feel it’s
not a toy a child would purposely choose but rather relies on a parent deciding
they would like their child to play it. The let-down of the wellies not
actually smelling. Maybe I’m wrong to assume but it just seems an oversite by
the designer to miss such an aspect of giving the game such a name and creating
an emphasis around it. I remember cards from my child hood that had pongy
smells when scratched so assume it’s doable. I do like it but for the price I’m
not sure it would be played that much to be worth it. I feel this is a good
idea and great for child learning in a fun way. Great for nursery’s or
community centre use. I’d give it a 4 as it really is useful and well-made but
just falls short with the price and misleading name. A great tool to make
