It
was a colourful, clever design which I wanted to pop open straight away and see
how it worked. It was packaged in a minimal fashion with the instructions
cleverly printed on the reverse of the sleeve. As one of the product features
was a slim product, the packaging certainly conformed to this. It is of high
quality, both in design and production. There are no sharp edges as you find on
some plastic pieces and the plastic has stayed in good shape over the weeks of
use, by me as a bin on the counter top and when we went out for a picnic, and
the children, as a small toy pot and a cave for cars!! I don’t have a toddler
who lies still enough for such nappy changes anymore, but I can see it being
useful to dump used wipes into during the early days when wriggling baby uses
all hands and more. I have no idea what other nappy bin products cost, but this
seems reasonable. If I needed a small bin then this one would be one I would
consider buying as it is practical and more fun colour wise than white or grey.
I have already told an expectant friend about it and another friend who saw it
when I used it for a picnic said she’d like one just for keeping in her cool
bag. I was pleased with my colour choice and the design was smart and easy to
use. I haven’t tried. The wall mount but it looks like it would work well. Whilst on a windy day picnic the bin held all
the little pieces of rubbish which normally blow about and was folded up into
the hamper afterwards. I’ll keep using it as a small bin, perhaps in the
cloakroom next, or my children will undoubtedly find many more uses for it in
their play, the resourcefulness of a pre-schoolers mind is incredible! Amy Charman – Arthur 19 Months

It
packs flat for when not in use. Multi-purpose and brightly coloured. Packaging
sufficient for its needs e.g. packs small, not required protective packaging
etc. Maybe consider a drawstring bag to put in for when not in use.
Instructions quite straight forward – no further explanation required. Quality
seems OK although does sometimes start to want to fold again so have to make
sure you push the base down hard. I do use nappy sacks when changing nappies
and this did make it easier as held the sack upright and avoiding dirty wipes
falling out. I could imagine that it could be used in a number of situations. It
certainly held together better when there was seem weight to it as sometimes
the base did start to flip up to folded position. This is reasonably
priced. I would consider buying one. I
have already recommended to a friend.
The biggest issue is to remember to pick up in a hurry. Think this is a great idea and could use for
different uses. Found more useful with "messy jobs” rather than table top bin.
Did sometimes have to push down base to keep it in shape. It’s a good idea to
spend the time loading the bin with bags so you don’t have to do each time.Lauren Ravenhill – Lily 21 Months

When
this arrived was not very impressed. The
packaging was very good. Not many
instructions but ok and this is very easy to use. The quality of the Snappy Bin is very
good. This did not make any difference
to my nappy change routine as I do not use nappy sacks. Personally I think this is too expensive for
what it is. This was a very average
experience as I did not use this for nappy changes but used to store my baby
toiletries by the bath. For me this was
expensive for a nice plastic storage bin.Stefania Martello – Sofia 2 Years
