Lovely little product in its own box with all the little accessories. It’s very good for role playing. My daughter found it easy to play with as pretty straight forward and only imagination needed. The size of all the pieces included were perfect for my daughter to hold and use. My daughter thought it was great being a dog groomer and a vet looking after her own little dog. This did spark her imagination and she loved pretending. She loved to take it all in the car and no worries of having to find missing pieces. She enjoyed playing with this set and showing off to others. She played with this every day. This was mainly played with at home in her bedroom. She loved playing with this for hours pretending. The fact this was made from sustainable sourced wood from FSC certified forests was a nice bonus. The age suitability was idea for my daughter. My daughter loved the dog in the set. I liked the ability to carry it around in its own case. It is very well made and will last for years. This is ideal to pass down to younger siblings as long as well-kept and not left near water or outside I don’t see why this can’t be reused. I think the price is slightly in the higher side for wooden toys of this nature but non the less I can see why people pay the price. I would not buy this but only as the price seems a little high when there are other less costly ethically made products out there. I would recommend at it is a very well made product. It’s really well made easy to carry sparks lots of imagination and can be used for years to come. I feel that it’s been very handy to have for my daughter to take to family and friends to be able to play on the go and not have the worry of something breaking or getting lost it’s very well made and sustainable which is highly sought after. I thought the box was nice and big and I liked the minimal packaging. A lovely way to encourage caring through role play. Due to nature of the toy, there are no instructions needed. Easy to play with but the collar would benefit from having a fastening. Also the tag on the collar was torn quickly as the card is quite flimsy for play. All pieces are good size for small hands. My daughter enjoyed using all the accessories in this set. There is a dog grooming Parlor not far from us, with a large viewing window. Lots of imitating of dog grooming has been enjoyed! The dog has been on many walks and the accessories have been incorporated into play with other toys. My daughter loved that it came in its own case and has enjoyed being able to fit extra toys in too when visiting family. Older family members have shown Grace how to take the best care of her dog, and she has imitated this. This was played with every day during the first 5 days/week, then intermittently, but definitely a couple of times a week. Played with at home in the playroom. This did keep her entertained for the first week. I think if they’d have had this toy aged 4, it would have been played with more. They loved the case most. We love wooden toys that stand the test of time. I do think if they were aged 4, the toy would’ve been more popular. Age 5 seems slightly too old. My daughter loved the carry case and it has been used lots for plenty of different games. I liked the fact the materials it is made from and the wood and card. I think the glue on the paper covering of the case needs to be stronger. There was a tab that was unstuck when the toy arrived. The inside of the box, at the bottom of the case is slightly creased. Regarding the durability and being able to pass down to younger siblings answer yes and no. The wooden parts will last, and hopefully the dog too, but it’s a bit grubby already – hoping it’ll come up good in the wash. The box for the treats and the collar tag are already torn and very dog-eared. £35 feels a little steep. I think the high-end of the twenties would feel better value. If the collar fastened and its tag was not made of card, I would say yes recommend. I feel the box for the treats needs replacing with something else/made solid. The glue needs to be better/ensure all tabs are stuck well. Scores well with regards to imaginative play, being neat when put away and cuteness. Falls short on use of cardboard and using white fabric for the dog. I think this could be the perfect toy for 4 year olds who enjoy role play. It’s great for learning to be gentle and caring. The wooden components are well designed and have been used across many different games. They will last, but the dog is grubby (not tried it in the wash yet), and the cardboard pieces don’t last long before they get torn. Amy Parker – Grace 5 Years

Looked really nice when arrived, good presentation in the box and full of lovely little accessories. Nice idea to promote imagination through play. All the parts in this set were ideal for small hands. My daughter loved playing with this. She would groom, pretend to take out for walks, feed her little dog and loved being able to take the whole set out with her when visiting friends and family as comes in a cute case to keep all pieces safe. This toy sparked her interest in grooming and caring for her little dog. This lead to lots of discussions on how to care for her own little dog and enabled her to use her imagination for a variety of role play activities with this set. This also taught her more about animals and how much is involved in caring for them. My daughter loved playing with this at home and showing off to all her friends. Also as comes in a handy case this was taken out with us on many occasions when visiting family. At first this was played with daily, now about 2 times each week. Mostly played with at home. This did keep my daughter entertained and she also learnt a lot about caring for a dog, and enjoyed role playing. Good that his is made of sustainable wood and non-toxic paint used. The age suitability was ideal for my daughter. She loved the little dog who went everywhere with her. I liked how this sparked imaginative play. The quality of the wooden pieces are excellent, but the other parts are a bit flimsy and the case would not last a long time and the dog did get grubby. We did wash the dog, but does not look as good as it did when first received the set. I would say this toy would last a while, but certain aspects of items included I do not believe will survive long term use as would start to get grubby looking. Personally the set is a great idea, a lovely concept for Role Play but price is a bit steep. I would not buy this item due to the price. I would recommend and outline price as it has given my daughter hours of entertainment and she loved the set.
