Initially I was very excited to trial the product. The content available online is solid and moves at a reasonable pace. The language is taught in an interesting way but my son was not given enough opportunity to practice. The songs were cute and repetitive which is great.  My son liked som eof the initial songs, but lost interest in them after a while.  I speak Spanish reasonably well so it did not really teach me anymore.  However, I did feel that if I did not speak Spanish at all, I would have found it difficult to follow.  I signed up for the FastTrack option which is a 40 week programme and I think this is excellent and should perhaps be the starting point rather than an optional extra.  Owen liked the character Speekee.  He thought he was a friendly character. The content was well suited to my child’s age; simple, everyday words are used.  The quality of the product is really good; it has obviously been well researched.  At £9.90 I think it is excellent value, but the product itself needs some work, breaking the programmes down into smaller chunks maybe, so they are not so long. I would recommend it especially to older children. I thought this looked good when I first saw it. The content available online is good and would like to see some more.  Although the use of song is good some were a bit fast and at times hard to pronounce the words right while trying to read the subtitles.  My son loved to listen to them but did not try to join in with the songs, maybe it would be better if the person spoke English and then repeated in Spanish.  He had fun trying to learn the Spanish but spent most of the time reading the words and having to go back to hear the word sover again. I did take a look at the FastTrack option available and thought that looked really good.  I thought my son was too young for this as no Englishto get him interested, plus he wasn’t that bothered with the Speekee character. I think it’s not bad for the price but would be loads better by adding English too just to get them started.  Corrina Gordon – Rhys 2 Years

This seemed easy to use but limited information about every video or how to use the website. I didn’t realise I coul have subtitles till very late.  The overall content available online is great.  We thought the songs were good too.  I did look at the extra FastTrack option that is available.  It explained what each week will learn.  It would be great if they had a sheet to print out for them to learn writing it down.  Kieran liked the character Speekee.  We thought he looked like something out of Sesame Street.  The value for money is ok but we don’t always get chance to use computer to have it on the website. To make this better they could speak a bit slower and maybe repeat the words before you move on and maybe have work sheet to print out. F or us the monthly fee is too expensive as we don’t have time to use our computer with the children. My children are not really interested watching it for too long.  It is great to have subtitles for both.  I think it is for more advanced children who know their basic Spanish.  Eileen Teo – Kieran 5 Years
