A very good
design and innovative idea. It’s substantial, strong plastic. It clearly and
attractively displays the spoon through the clear plastic window on the front
and shows what the product is for. It has all the instructions on the packet. There
are full instructions in English on the packaging and in the leaflet in 16
different languages. They clearly state how to use and clean the spoon. There
are clear measurement markings at 2.5ml intervals on the spoon. The front and
side panel of the packaging makes it clear too. Very easy for my children to
use. My children can get a good grip on
it too with the brilliant caterpillar design. No spills as the spout was angled
just right. The clever caterpillar feet keep the spoon upright too so it
doesn’t roll over if placed on a flat surface. It is fine with the infant
Calpol but the 6+ liquid paracetamol that I had was a bit thicker so a small
amount was left at the bottom. I washed it up by hand and found it easy to
clean. I half filled it with soapy water, covered the top with my fingers and
shook it, then rinsed. It is possible to go in the dishwasher too but I didn’t
try that. I think it was a novelty at first but they were always happy to take
the medicine from it. The quality is really good as lovely strong plastic. It’s the kind of product that is likely to
last a very long time. I think the
design is brilliant as it is. It’s much
easier than the traditional medicine spoon and nice not to have any spills
especially when the medicine is brightly coloured and could stain garments and
carpets. I think this would be especially good for young children and for
elderly people who have a shaky hand. It is good for anybody to use as it can
be so easy to overfill a normal medicine spoon and spill the medicine. As you
can see, I liked it very much. I think it’s a brilliant idea. A unique medicine
spoon which reduces spillages. Katrina Brunning – Evan & Julianna – 1 &

I thought
this was a really novel and creative idea that looked child friendly. Packaging
not too much to throw away and the product was still easily distinguishable.
Instructions good and pretty self-explanatory.
It is easy to see when looking at the spoon however when starting to
pour the medicine it can be an awkward angle so it would be helpful if the
markings were a different colour to the main material of the spoon. Really easy
for my child to hold. No issues with this at all. No spillages as the dosage
line was well below the edge of the spoon. This may be a problem as the child
gets older and the dosage increases. This would be more of an issue when lying
the spoon down. The child needs to suck the medicine at the same time so I found
that there was still medicine in the very bottom of the spoon. I just put mine in the dishwasher but it
would be easy to clean as long as you did it straight away before the medicine
becomes sticky. My child enjoyed taking
medicine using this spoon. This is good quality, sturdy and can withstand being
thrown around. Definitely good value for money.
Design is ideal as it is. I would buy this. I would recommend especially if I knew
someone whose child is fussy about taking medicine. This is a fun looking easy
to use product that serves the purpose it was designed for with complete ease
and a must have for any parents of toddlers. Charlotte Salvage – Theo 2 Years

A
novelty way to persuade children to take medicine. Packaging looks fun, child
friendly, clearly shows what the product is. A very simple product and the
instructions are clear and straightforward. Very clearly marked on amount to
fill spilly spoon. This needs to be an adult led administration as the medicine
would easily spill if not kept level. The medicine did spill out when using
this spoon. When tipping this to
administer there was some slight spillage (with an adult using it). Comes out
of the spoon almost too easily. Very fast flow. Very easy to clean – hand
washed or dishwasher were both very easy. Children love a novelty! If this was
your chosen method every time the medicine was given, the novelty may wear off.
Seems a great, sturdy product that you could get many years use from. Again, it
is a novelty, I wonder if after a few times of using any child who was averse
to taking medicine would probably refuse to use. A way to stop the medicine
flowing as freely so the children could take it more slowly would definitely be
an improvement. I wouldn’t buy it as my children happily take medicine from a
syringe or normal spoon. If a friend struggled to administer medicine to their
child, I would recommend this product as something that would be worth a
try. Seems an unnecessary novelty
product, however, if you had children who didn’t like to take medicine this
would do the trick! This is a great novelty product for anyone struggling to
get their children to take medicine but the traditional syringe/spoon does the
same job. Rebekah Mogg – Florence & Huxley – 8 Months & 2 Years 6
