After blowing it up, I thought it looked SOO much fun!! I remember thinking ‘My kids are going to love this!! Really colourful. Lots of pictures of Sponge Bob and 100% recyclable. Less than 5 minutes to blow this up (which was just as well as my children were watching and waiting .eagerly!). It didn’t really need assembly as it simply needed blowing up- so, really it didn’t require any. Although I realised after a while it does not work unless it is blown up to its absolute fullest. No concerns about this product. All 4 of my children had great fun with this. They were fascinated by it and it kept them entertained for ages. They thought it was hilarious that it just kept coming back at them and tried to come up with different ways of bopping it to try to keep it down. It then became a rocket, the school bus, a pillow as they lay on the beach, goggles they looked through to find their way around the house, a firework and it came into the paddling pool. They counted how long it stayed down for and tried balancing on it. So much fun. The hand/eye co-ordination certainly got better the more they played with it! It was bopping less in the face and they were better able to bop it back before it got to them. They made up games where they took it in turns to bop it, who could bop it the hardest, who could make it bop into somebody else, who could make it move off its spot on the floor…. I think it was really good for sharing, probably because they could all get involved and didn’t have to wait long for their turn. It did keep their attention for quite a while. The 2 and 4 year old probably stayed longer at it than the older ones. Very good quality although there has been a fair bit of sand that has leaked out and swishes around inside the bop bag. There isn’t anything I dislike about this product but I would suggest having one of those blowing up valves that do not let the air escape as I found it hard trying to close it without any air escaping and it didn’t work if air had escaped. My husband was better and quicker at doing this than I was. Definitely good value I think it is priced perfectly. I would. Buy this as I think it is a perfect summer toy. Ideal for the garden. Looked good when arrived. The product comes inside a box made of good material. Nice/vibrant colours on the packaging. Fairly easy and quick to inflate the product. No concerns about recommended age. In my opinion this product offers very little stimulation to children imagination or the chance of pretend play. Both my children were very disinterested on the product after the first 5 minutes of excitement about receiving a new toy. At a later time they did play with it but they pretended the product was a train so they sat on top of it. This Product can help with children learning how to share, as children can take turns to bop the bag. Also the product is good for hand/eye coordination if the child is driven to play with it unfortunately my children only played with it a few minutes and then got bored. They did try to balance on top of the product but that’s not what the product should be for. This only captured their attention on the day it arrived as something new. They mainly used it to sit on and pretended was a train or rocket. The quality is good and I think it will last. Looked fun and exciting. Quite standard packaging, nothing really exciting about it but it done the job. It only took a few minutes to inflate. Really quick. Really easy to assemble and easy to follow instructions. No concerns about this toy very age appropriate. No it doesn’t stimulate their imagination; it’s just a case of hitting it and having fun. It does help with hand /eye co-ordination .Good to learn when to hit it at the right time to make it work the best. My child played with it for a few minutes at a time then got bored but would go back to it during the day to have another bash. My daughter liked to sit on and also liked to dress it up and play hide and seek with it. Ours got a slow puncture after just a few days and it was only used on a carpeted floor surface. Nothing we disliked about this toy. It is good value for money. I would not purchase as ours did not last for very long. I would recommend as a fun inexpensive toy while it lasts.
