I thought this looked quite funky when it arrived. The packaging was great. My daughter found this pencil quite comfortable to write and draw with. She held this pencil slightly better than just a normal pencil. I did see a difference in her handwriting when using this. She has been using it for a few weeks now and hasn’t managed to snap it so it must be quite sturdy; the quality is excellent. I do like it but personally I wouldn’t spend over £1 on a single pencil at this young an age. It is a nice pencil to use but does not really offer value for money. Stevi Robertson – Emily 4 Years

This looked different to other pencils; like a pencil that had bits sharpened away. This was a great pencil for my son to use who usually has problems holding pencils the correct way. The grooves in the sides of the pencil helped a lot with his grip. It didn’t really help improve his handwriting I would say but it did help in other ways as mentioned. The pencil was very sturdy and the quality seems to be very good. Value for money was ok although I think it’s perhaps slightly expensive for a pencil. I would recommend it to others as I think it does help in some ways. My son enjoyed using his pencil and liked the unique design and it was easy for him to grip. Evette Garside – Ryan 9 Years

This was completely different to others pencils we had seen before. There were little moulds which enabled your child to have a better grip. The size was great. Layla found this very comfortable to write and draw with. I think the grooves really helped with her grip. She is working on her handwriting at the moment and this is really helping her as it is more comfortable to hold. The quality of the pencil is great; it seemed steady while she was using it. I think it does offer value for money as it’s different to the basic pencil. It is definitely worth it if your child has trouble gripping their pencils when using them. I would consider buying one of these and would recommend it to family and friends especially for that extra bit of grip. My daughter enjoyed using this pencil; she has written her name on it and uses it all the time now when doing her work. Emma Watts – Layla 8 Years
