Was nice to be able to do in the comfort of my own
home, as didn’t realise you had to do two swabs. I was aware of Group B
Streptococcus prior to review this test. Instructions were clear and very easy
to follow. This was easy to use no issue at all. Test was easy to carry out and
done in no time. I am sure it will give me peace of mind when I
find out and if it is a negative result. The packaging is effective,
informative and clearly outlines what this product has to offer. Posted
test on a Monday and received the results the following Monday. The text
from the company (my preferred means of contact) was very friendly and wished
me luck for the rest of my pregnancy. My test was negative. I would recommend
to others to get peace of mind. The way this product is packaged all the
information you need is on the box and you are fully aware what this test has
to offer. Personally I think this is a test that should be offered to all
pregnant women. It is expensive for what it is and may put some people off, if
it was a test supplied/offered in pregnancy it will probably be more attractive
to use. But for the results you would get and peace of mind, it is valuable for
the price… especially if you get a positive result. It was a bit uncomfortable

safely and well packaged. I was aware
that there was a test for group B strep before I received the strepelle test to
review. The Instructions included easy
to follow step by step diagrams as well as guides to make sure that the swabs
were not inserted further than necessary/safe. I was a bit apprehensive about
using the swabs myself at first, my first birth was quite traumatic so I am a
bit squeamish about these sorts of test anyway, however The test was very easy
to complete, much easier than I thought and probably caused a lot less stress
and anxiety than having to go to a medical centre and having a stranger carry
them out. Swabs took a couple of minutes to do, then all you have to do is put a
sticker on each swab and place it in the prepaid envelope along with the form
with your details on. I sent the swabs off on the Monday, and received the
results Saturday dinner time via text message. Thankfully my result was
negative so no further action was needed. It has put my mind at ease; pregnancy
is full of worries so this is now one less thing to worry about. The packing is
discreet whilst being clear about the purpose of the product. I would
definitely recommend this product to others as it is worth the peace of mind
that nothing is going to be passed onto baby that might potentially cause them
harm. The packaging and design are perfect as is with all you need to know
listed on packaging. I think information
about products like strepelle and the conditions that they test for should be
made more easily available to allow woman to make informed decisions of whether
to carry them out. It certainly affordable and offers value for money, I don’t
feel it’s a lot to pay for the reassurances that it gives. The product is very
good quality. I was originally apprehensive about using this product, however
it was really simple to use, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any
pregnant woman wanting the reassurances it provides. Thank you for the

The packaging reduced my anxieties around the test as it looked home friendly. The test was compact and the instructions straight forward and clear. I was aware of group b streptococcus but did not realise you could purchase a test to do at home. The instructions were written clearly with easy to follow diagrams. I particularly liked the guide for measuring the size of the swab sample needed. Very straight forward and quick to do. I was anxious about doing the swabs myself but with the easy to follow guide it was much more comfortable to do this in the comfort of my own home rather than with a stranger at the doctors. I did not receive my results and had to contact the customer services email. This caused some anxiety; however within a couple of hours of contacting them they responded with my negative results via email. This test obviously reduced my concerns due to my negative result. I liked the packaging as felt it was not over medicalised and looks friendly, but remains clear in the purpose. I would recommend this test to others; however felt that the cost of the test may be high for some people, potentially excluding some of the most vulnerable mothers. The packaging and way presented is fine tells you all you need to know. I do feel doctor or nurse should give you information about this product. Even an information leaflet about the benefits, cost and potentially the ability to buy from them directly. Due to the potential outcomes of identifying additional treatment for you or your baby the value of this test in my opinion offers great value for money; however I would have some concerns that the cost may exclude parts of society who could also opt for the test if free or cost less. Product quality was perfect from the instructions, packaging to the swabs and labelling. Product was very easy to use and the instructions were clear. The ability to do in your own home was comforting and easy to undertake. I would recommend to others and feel that information from midwives would highlight this test to others. looked professional and appealing. I had not heard of this test prior to
reviewing for Bizziebaby. Instructions where clear and detailed only one slight
issue that instructions didn’t tell you to remove a cap from tubes that was
very difficult to even realise there was a cap on until you started to try and
push sample in. I was nervous about using this test as I was worried
about what results would come back.Very easy to collect
sample. It took roughly a week for my results to come back. By
taking this test it did give me peace of mind. The packaging clearly
outlines what this product offers. I would recommend this test to
expectant mothers. It would be good to be made aware of this test during
pregnancy. I personally feel the price would put some people off
purchasing this. Quality was fantastic. the product was very clear and
