This looked very colourful when arrived. Front cover very inviting and Sophia picked it up and looked at it straight away. She did enjoy the story. She loved the enchanting rhyming adventure. Really enjoyed finding out if the ten little unicorns find the missing cake. She enjoyed finding out about wizards, witches, dragons and fairies and counting at the same time. Really interactive book and she enjoyed the magical read-aloud sounds. This certainly captured her attention and kept her entertained. She found all the illustrations great and followed them through to the end. This is read 3 times a week at bedtime. She loved counting and the end page of them all coming back. I liked how the incorporated counting and a story within the book. Age suitability is ideal as our daughter is 3 and she loved it. High quality book. Very good value. I would buy this as very well built book and lots of colour to it. I would recommend as very good for learning and a good story. Good value for money and a good book as our little girl loves reading it. This book is colourful, good value, easy to read, easy to understand for young ages and easy to turn pages. This has been read 15 times. He enjoyed the counting down and rhythm and rhyme. I liked how the plot twists at the end. I feel this is ideal for 2-4 for subject of counting down from 10. Very good quality book. Also good value. I would buy this and I would recommend as it is a fun book with great colours. Rhyme and rainbow colours and fun plot twist with the chef being trapped. Board book always great for little hands and easy to turn pages. A fun way of counting down from 10 and the different characters on each page. Great plot twist at the end and happy ending. When this arrived looked pretty with all the colours and eye catching. My child likes unicorns so was excited to read this. She liked the story. Also enjoyed the enchanting rhyming adventure. Was keen to find out if the ten little unicorns would find the missing cake. She was not keen on the dragons and scared of the ghosts. She enjoyed the spot and count and the magical read-aloud sounds. This did keep her attention. My child liked looking at the pictures but not sure whether she fully can connect them with the story just yet, she is more likely to come up with her own explanation of the pictures. This was read quite a lot and she took it on holiday with us so it has had good use. She loved the unicorns. I liked that it helps with counting. Other than the fact I think the ghosts “and ghoulies” have no place in a children’s book especially not for toddlers and my child said it was scary, the rest of the book I found age appropriate. I am unsure whether a younger child would hold their attention as it is quite long when it is read aloud but still good if used as a picture book. The quality is very good. I wouldn’t spend that on a book , probably for me more £3.99 price range. I would not buy it due to price but I do like the book. I would recommend but I would warn about the ghost content. Really liked the book just a shame that ghosts were not considered to be unsuitable for young children. Really eye catching book, child enjoyed it. It is quite a long read for the age range but my little girl loved looking at the pictures and finding the unicorns within the pages. Rhianydd Wray – Maia 3 Years
