Eye catching solid and bright. Easy to use website with a wide variety of book products available. Both my children loved this book. Daisy who is just one found the chunky pages really easy to manage and turn over. Scarlet who is two also enjoyed the book and because it has a very simple theme was able to understand and take part and ask questions. It encourages the child to feel parts of the puppy and make observations This is very bright and colourful book, also easy to wipe clean.  At £5.99 this offers great value for money I would definately buy this product or similar in the range. The price makes it a great birthday present for other children too. I would highly recommend this product to friends and family. Good quality hard back book. Virtually indestructible and easy to wipe clean. The illustrations are simple and bold and allow parent and child to discuss the contents of the page. My children loved reading this book. A very simple story that allows the child to be involved.  I give this book top marks. My one year old always makes a bee line for this, even when it is on the bottom of a pile of books. It is bright, colourful and it encourages child interaction by allowing the child to feel parts of the puppy. This promotes a child to take part in reading from a very early age. A simple book with bright, colourful illustrations making an overall enjoyable experience for both parent and child. Katie Walton – Daisy (1 year) & Scarlet (2 years)

Very positive first impression because I’ve bought these books for my boys before as they really like them. I liked the brightly coloured, attractive and hard-wearing front cover design. I think the Usborne website is brilliant. It’s so easy to use, and extensive. It’s a great way of finding out about their books and products including safety and ethical issues. I think this book is really high quality. It’s well designed and imaginative, as well as being produced to a very high standard. A great book for babies to learn about different textures. Thomas looked at the front cover, and held the book, but he repeatedly refrained from opening it. He just didn’t appear to take to it despite enjoying other similar books in the past. He really didn’t respond to the illustrations. He was quite indifferent in fact. Having bought these books in the past, I would say they usually stimulate my sons, but for some reason, this book didn’t. I really like this book. The illustrations and the different textures are very good, and I believe it’s a great fun educational book because of the familiar images and repetition of the text. I think this book offers good value for money if the child responds well to it. It’s very well made, and great for interacting with your baby, and stimulating their love of reading. I think it would be a great gift. I can’t understand why my son didn’t enjoy this book when it’s got some much going for it! Joanne Dall – Thomas Dall Aged 1 Year 3 Months

Magdelana Awarded That’s Not My Puppy Book  5/5

Looked a good quality book and nice bright cover. Website has a lot on offer and very easy to use and navigate.  Danielle and Dorothy loved this book.  One thing they liked is it was easy for them to turn the pages so they felt more like it was their own book. They enjoyed the story, understood the story and it sparked questions so helped them understand and learn.  This book is really effective in encouraging your children to feel involved and observe everything that happens to the puppy.  A very good book, bright colourful and easy to keep clean.  This will last so it is good value for money.  A super book, we all enjoyed reading it and raised a lot of questins so we had even more fun.  High quality, will last.  An enjoyable read and will be purchasing more books from Usborne in the future.  Illustrations are suberb, very colourful and vibrant.  We all loved it and the gilrs love the puppy.  The story is easy to follow and keeps my girls interest so a big plus.   A very simple story that allows the child to be involved.  A fun, interactive reading experience and thumbs up from my girls as now one of their favourites.
