The quality of the nursing pillow is great. It has a firmness that does not go after several uses, unlike other pillows. However I found it hard to fit around my waist comfortably as Im a medium build and felt it rather tight to have on for a long time. The concept is very good as it can’t slip of your lap whilst feeding. Also the fact that it has multi uses other than as a feeding pillow really makes it stand out. Whilst the covers and pillow can be machine washed and dried, the pillow is rather large to fit into the machine. My baby wouldn’t breastfeed; she would only bottle feed so I am unable to comment on whether this aids breast feeding. Its too big and bulky to be able to easily take it out with me, bearing in mind the amount of things you already have to carry with you when out with a baby It will come in handy when my baby is learning to sit up, and when she is a little bigger and can enjoy some tummy time on it, so I will save it for then. I liked the quality of the nursing pillow and I think that the concept is an excellent idea. It really does make feeding more comfortable and enjoyable for both mother and baby. I found that it washes very well but I have needed to iron it a few times. Using this pillow makes me feel much more comfortable in any position and you also have one arm free! It also helps to put baby at a suitable height to aid latching on. Although more portable than other nursing pillows, I wouldn’t consider this to be an essential item when you have so much else to carry. I use it in bed, on the sofa, at the table sat on a chair or stool. It is compact for a feeding pillow. I will definitely use it to support baby as he develops. I wish I had one for my first baby. I liked the pillow very much, the materials used are very nice and with good quality stitching, unlike others that I have used in the past. The whole feeding with it for me didn’t happen as i found she was too high up to feed with but that could be because of my bust size. BUT my daughter loves sitting in and wont sleep on her back so actually uses it to sleep in! Won’t sleep without it! The instructions do say not to use for sleeping though. I guess if you had a wriggly baby who didn’t like not being flat then it would be more of an issue. Machine washable and tumble dry on low which is great haven’t had to do it yet but for the review purpose did try to get it out and back in and it was very fiddly and tricky! Very tight snug fit! I think the pillow is extremely portable; it even comes with its own bag which we use for travelling purposes. My daughter wouldn’t sleep yet now sleeps in this and it’s an absolute godsend – the tightness feeling of it makes her feel like she’s being cuddled and secure, She hates sleeping lying flat too so this really helps. The feeding didn’t work for us but my daughter loves sitting in it, sleeping in it and being on her tummy so she can watch her big brother and it gives her all the support too!
