My first thoughts were that the skipping rope itself seemed little light and the handles didn’t feel or look that great a quality, the skip counter was an added bonus and the booklet was interesting to read, little bit pricey though. Came in a reasonable size box, bold writing, looked quite interesting.  Gemma liked it very much, she had fun challenging her friends to see who could do the most skips, the skip counter is a great plus side too. It really helps a child to learn to co-ordinate their movements. She played happily with it for about 30 minutes at a time. She also used it as a tug of war rope and she and her friends used it to pull each other around pretending to take each other on trips. The handles could have been a bit better quality as the rope did come out a few times. I think a child could be just as happy with a cheaper skipping rope unless they really wanted a rope with a skip counter but I personally wouldn’t pay £7.99 just for that reason. I would purchase this if it was for an older child who had a real passion in skipping but not for a younger child I think they would be just as happy with a cheaper skipping rope. An interesting and exciting product. The packaging is quite flimsy and I think the rope is quite small for a four year old. My child has not been able to play with this toy, but my older children enjoy attempting the records. It doesn’t really keep my younger child attention but it’s ideal for my older children when the weather is nice. My youngest does enjoy using the ropes as reins however! Unfortunately nobody has come close to beating a world record yet, but they have fun trying.  The quality is standard, not brilliant. One of the handles on the rope has cracked because it is made from plastic. Although is fun to attempt the world records, the quality of the handles aren’t great and I feel this toy does not offer value for money, but it is a fun concept. Cathy- Runham-Beard – Ellie 4 Years

I wasn’t that impressed by the product in all honesty. It looked very much like a standard skipping rope but with bigger handles. It was a bright box and it was well packaged, Alisha enjoyed it and played with it with a few friends but soon lost interest after a while. I think it helps with development because you have to learn to balance well. The toy kept Alisha’s attention for about 20 minutes at a time. Unfortunately the skipping rope broke after a couple of uses so I didn’t let her play with it anymore, but I am sure if purchased you would be able to take back to store for refund or contact company direct.  We had this supplied as item to review.
