Initially I thought it looked quite small and
flimsy, especially compared to some of the other parenting books. However, when
I flicked through I was eager to read! The look and feel is a little cheap, but
after reading it I can 100% say it is about quality not quantity. Initially
quite small and flimsy, but do not be put off! Great pictures. I have read
other books but they are so big and bulky. This book will be staying close to
me, in my nappy bag etc. without taking up loads of room. Loved every page! So
easy to read and full of information and advice without taking months to get
through. Feel so much more confident about breastfeeding and will be using this
book at times of desperation! A little focused on the benefits of a natural
birth, having got my c section date. I found it didn’t really consider other birth
options. But did not put me off! Impression changed after reading. Before –
small and can’t be that informative – After reading, my go to source of
information! I would say £7.99 is a reasonable price. I would certainly purchase this book and
already loaned to a friend. An
enjoyable read with lots of advice and strategies. It has built my confidence
with breastfeeding without it being all ‘rosy and perfect’. A realistic view of
breastfeeding. Perfect read of an afternoon on maternity leave. Thank you! Ellie Glew – Mum to Be

Very short for the price printed on the
reverse. Poor printed quality especially thickness of cover. This book is very thin for the price. Well written but same content as most baby
apps and free blogs. Nothing new content wise that surprised me, it was
honestly written. Probably better suited as a blog rather than a book. No not
good value as doesn’t offer any information or advise that isn’t available from
current baby websites etc. I would not recommend due to price and content. Well written, easy to read. Took me a while to read, (have a new born so
sleep deprived right now) but although it is well written it didn’t offer any
new advice. Emilie

Looked
quite a thin book, was not sure about this when first arrived. Most books for new parents are massive,
expensive and thick, this was very different.
As a first time mum any help on breastfeeding was going to be great and
started to read book. This is a well-written
book, good advice, and good pictures and really has helped me. Been using as a guide throughout my
breastfeeding experience. Really found
this helpful and so useful on helping me go through the joy of breastfeeding my
baby and not being put off in the early stages.
Very easy to read. I am now very
confident about breastfeeding and would advise any new mum to pick up this
book. Does not look much when you first
see it but it has been invaluable to me.
Price I feel is a bit high, but after using this as a great guide for me
well worth the investment. A very down
to earth and real view on breastfeeding and contains lots of help and
advice. Thank you. Emilia Wooton – Paula
