I have
previously attended this park however not since the expansion. It looked very
good and has always been a great place. The Park was very well signed posted
and had very easy access for any type of car (we were driving an estate car). The
parking was well signed posted, easy to get to, clean, tidy and well-staffed; the
paying gate was closed so we drove straight through. The end is very good, wide
roads clean markings. Fantastic environment. Very invited, clean, tidy plenty
of staffed around should you need assistance and they were all very pleasant. It
was fantastic my boys were so excited to try out the new rides, although we
didn’t go on the wet rides due to it being a cold day. Both of my boys were
full of excitement from start to finish, Spoilt for choice with the variety of
rides. We love doing family days
out. The facilities in Thomas Land were
great. Very clean, plenty of stalls, warm and tidy. The baby changing was very
clean and had the choice of both open bays and private changing. It also didn’t
have the ‘typical’ baby changing small which was nice. Unfortunately, the
toilets in the rest of the park were very tired. Cold, not very clean and not a
pleasant experience. The food in the park was very good, we liked that they
provided takeout cups with lids to keep your drink warm and so as not to spill.
They were a little pricey. We felt totally safe at Thomas Land. The park was very open and plenty of staff
around should you need assistance or should a child get lost. I believe it does
offer value for money, the joy that it brought to us as a family was value
enough and the cost of the tickets for a full day were reasonable in comparison
to other theme parks. We would certainly go again brilliant day. Without question would highly recommend this
park. Overall a fantastic experience
both as a guest to the park and as a parent. A 5 star day, plenty of things to
do, great atmosphere, gift shops, arcades, nice walks. Ample amount of seating,
toilets and eateries. Would absolutely recommend this to my family and friends
and am looking for to attending again in the near future. Kayleigh Nozedar –

Thomas Land at Drayton Manor 5/5
The five of
us (we paid separately for my Mum to come along with us) all packed ourselves
into the car for a long drive to Drayton Manor – but once we were on the road
it was quick and easy to get to, and well sign-posted. Parking was well placed
to the entrance, and nicely set out. There were marked pedestrian areas leading
to the entrance gate which we could instruct our sons to stay within, which
meant we they were able to walk with us with less worry about other cars which
was great. The entrance was easy to spot, and decorated nicely making it
pleasant to wait around there. Maybe they could have more clearly marked
queuing areas for when it’s a little busier, but on the day we went this wasn’t
a problem. The park itself is nicely set out, and Thomas Land itself is perfect
for the age range of our children. Rides aside, there are lots of Thomas themed
decorations about to really immerse the children in the world of Thomas.
Everything was clean, and it was obvious it was being cleaned regularly during
the day. The expansion to the park is fantastic. It is spaced out just enough
that we didn’t feel the expansion had been crammed in for the sake of it, but
without being so spaced out that you feel like you’re forever walking around
like you get in other parks. The boys loved the Fat Controller statue – it was
just a shame it was fenced off as they wanted a picture with him! The boys
absolutely loved their surprise day trip to the park – they were only
disappointed that they weren’t staying the night to come back the next day! Our
2 (nearly 3) year old was taking in every little detail of Thomas Land, and our
newly turned 6 year old was excitedly talking about what ride he wanted to go
on next. Our sons are big thrill seekers – they both love rides of this kind,
and they are quite hard to come by at other parks at a level that the youngest
can go on (especially as he is quite short for his age). Thomas Land is perfect
for this. The eating and drinking facilities nearby offered a decent range,
with large seating areas nearby. Where we stopped to eat it was pretty quiet
which probably helped, although I wonder if in busier times they are that easy
to queue with hyper children like mine! I also wish the toilets were easier to
find – but this may have just been me! There could be better facilities for
little ones, like lowered sinks and hand dryers – this would make things
perfect all round! The park felt very family friendly which helped us to feel
safe with our children running around. There are lots for little ones to do for
the price, and plenty of rides our youngest could enjoy rather than waiting and
watching the majority of the time which could happen at other parks. There was
a lovely variety for the whole family. We would definitely go back again. We
would, and already have, recommended Thomas Land to friends and family with
children. It was great fun for everyone, but particularly the kids. And as we
all know, happy kids mean happy parents! Thomas Land is a lovely place to take
young children and enjoy the theme park style atmosphere but with rides that
little ones can actually go on. My nearly 3 year old is quite short for his age
so in most parks he would get turned away from the majority of rides and would
have to watch his brother have fun without him. At Thomas Land there was very
little he couldn’t have a go on with an adult with him, and I loved every
minute of seeing the joyful expression on his face as he went on ride after
ride. Although relatively busy for a cold February day, the queues were
manageable with little ones, and there weren’t many rides with a long queue at
all. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
My nearly 3 year old’s favourite ride was Bertie Bus, and he was over
the moon he got to sit in Clarabel and have a ride on "the real Thomas”, and
his older brother’s favourite was the
Ben 10 ride (part of the main park but still running that day). We all enjoyed
the 4D cinema experience with Yogi Bear! There is so much to do all day that we
were there from the moment the gates opened till closing time – and the boys
haven’t stopped talking about it since! A fabulous day out all round! Michelle

Thomas Land at Drayton Manor 5/5
It
was very well signposted and the sat Nav took us right to the door. Our son is
a blue badge holder and parking was excellent, very close to the door and
plenty of space to get in and out. Entrance was clean and well maintained and
plenty of staff on hand. Drayton Manor is a super theme park for families. There are plenty of rides and attractions for
all ages and plenty of places to eat and rest. The new Thomas Land expansion is
Superb. The rides were brilliant, the
children loved it. They loved the entire day.
There was plenty for our children to do, and the vast majority they
could ride alone which made them feel very grown up. We love this park, so much so we are costing
up annual passes for this summer. This is ideal for us as we have 3 older
children who love the main theme park and its rides, and 2 younger children who
can enjoy Thomas Land and the main park equally. Love it! Thomas land had plenty of food
outlets where we could easily find meals and drinks for the whole family. The toilets were quite spread out, so for
families with younger children it could mean a mad dash to find a convenience. The
park is very safe and it’s easy to find your way around. I would say theme
parks in general are quite expensive, however the annual passes make visiting
very affordable, and it would definitely keep our Childrens interest. We would
definitely go again. Would recommend
without hesitation. Easy to find, well-staffed,
clean and fun for the whole family. We really enjoyed our day at Drayton Manor,
so much so, we are costing up passes for the whole family for this coming year.Leah Eaton – Harry, Amber, George, Charley & Henry – 13, 11, 11, 7 & 7
