My first impression was that the puzzle looked a little difficult to do. The size and style of the puzzle was very good and my son played with it with his Lego sets. The entertainment value of the puzzle is very good to, it kept my son busy for a while. No concerns, age appropriate, I even think a 5 or 6 yr old could have a go. While building it stimulated his brain, once built he used his imagination and played with it with his Lego. He would not play with it on its own because it doesn’t do anything. It’s a very good activity for all the family to enjoy time and time again.  We found it difficult to start, but once we did a few the rest became easier. Thanks for giving us the chance to test this product! Jo Heard – Mason 9 Years

I love wooden toys and I know my kids love jigsaws so the product looked perfect. The style and size of the puzzle is great, I love the idea of building a house, it suits both boys and girls. It’s a puzzle that can be played with again and again. The younger ones may need help but as they get older they’ll get real satisfaction doing it themselves, as an adult I think it’s quite therapeutic! I thought my three year old would be too young but we worked together and both enjoyed it. My six year old, Rhys, just needed a little direction from Mum and my 7 yr old too – they were very pleased on completing it! It makes you think in a different way to ordinary 2D jigsaws. Improves your motor skills too. All three (3, 6 & 7) have played with it but we’ve always tidied it away on completion – which is quite fun too (dismantling it and fitting it into box). I think my eldest would like to use it as little house with other toys. There’s no step-by-step instructions so like a 2D puzzle you have think about it and use ‘trial and error’ which in itself is a good learning process.  I think it’s a puzzle that has lots of life in it and is fun for all the family. Some jigsaws are too easy or too hard – this is the right balance. A great way for parents/grandparent/carers to spend time with younger kids. Fun for all the family. I think this is a well-crafted, stimulating puzzle. And I love that it’s not plastic! I wish we had more like it. Allison Parry – Rhys 6 Years

I thought the product looked very interesting but I was not sure at first if it was a puzzle or a toy. The size and style of the product is great and I have no concerns about letting my son play with it. In a playable context it is great, my son plays with it as a train station with his wooden train set. The quality is great but I do think it is expensive and I would only consider buying it if it was half of the price. But overall we all really enjoyed it, my son who loves construction especially.
