This
is a really nice looking product and the quality is great, it’s one of the
nicest designs about. It is very easy to set this monitor
up, but you
need batteries for the parent device all the time even when it is on the
docking station for it the batteries don’t really last a long time they soon
start to run out. It is very portable you can use this in any house with a plug
socket. I am very happy most of the time that i would be able to hear my baby
but it could had been better it is had a slightly louder volume setting to accommodate
everyone as i am hard of hearing and this would be ideal for all if it can be
adjusted a bit more for all to use. It is very clear when my baby makes a noise
even the slightest mumble of her is clear I’m pleased on how clear the sound
comes across. This has a volume setting on it a room temperature so you can see
how warm the baby’s room is also has a button so you can talk to the baby and
try to settle them back down and also has a button so u can turn a dim light on
the baby’s device which has 3 different light settings and they are an ideal
brightness not too bright and not too dim. The distance on this is fine and
very clear with the handy clip on this you can move about the house or garden
and know you will always hear the baby. I will continue to
use this baby monitor for my baby and will carry on using the device until it decides
to die on me. I would recommend to friends and family but would also say they
would need to make sure it’s loud enough for them if they suffer from a hearing
loss like I do. Over all this product is a lovely device to use it has a nice
design to it even though i had a few small downsides to it i would still use
this and hope to carry on using it till the time comes when i no longer in need
of this even though it has a few downsides to it like the battery’s don’t hold
their charge for a long time but I would say this is one of the best I have
seen out on the market so far. Mark Astin – Baby Kayleigh

I was really excited to review this product as the product details
sounded excellent.  Henry had been ill in
hospital with bronchiolitis and was a very wheezy baby meaning we had been very
reluctant to leave him alone when sleeping without continually checking him (slightly
paranoid).  This product sounded as if it
may give us the peace of mind we were after. This is a very good quality product as
you would expect from Tommee Tippee. Fairly
straightforward to set up, not as easy as the more basic monitors but then you
are getting more from it.   Base unit is plugged in and the parent unit is
battery operated with a mains charger.
We leave ours in the charger all the time unless we are going to be in a
different room in which case we take it with us.  Battery life is good. Could be taken on
holiday but we would probably revert to a more basic monitor unless we were
going for a few nights. When the monitor is on you can hear Henry chattering
away to himself and the bells of his toys, the audio is very clear. The mat was
easy to set up, but you do need to ensure that it is placed directly beneath
where the baby will lie.  The alarm
sounded one night resulting in a very fast Mummy running to Henry to find it
was where he wasn’t central above the pad.
This may become more of an issue when Henry starts wriggling around the cot
more.  The monitor can be either set to
give a soft tick every time the baby moves or for a light to flash.  I liked the audible tick and found it very soothing;
my husband though described it as Chinese Water Torture! This product gave us
much needed reassurance.  With his wheezy
chest I think I would still be up every 15 minutes checking him without it. Clearly
displays the temperature and has a night light, would be good if the light had
various intensities so you could change nappies using the light from the
monitor as you have to turn the mat off on the unit anyway when removing baby
from cot. Excellent product, only drawback is the price when you
have lots of other baby bits to buy.  I
personally would go for a product like this with my child’s safety in mind and
cut back on the toys and clothes if necessary. Brilliant product meaning you and your
baby can sleep easier. Zena Jacobs – Baby Henry 6

I thought it looked good in the box
and the description sounded good too. On removal from the box it felt a bit
light but this was not a problem. The monitor is very easy to set up but I’d
say that the quality is plastic and basic. This monitor can be operated by the
mains and by batteries but it’s disappointing
that rechargeable batteries aren’t included as with other monitors. It is
portable though and would be good for taking no holiday. But you do need to
have the volume up quite high and it doesn’t pick up every sound in the room
like other monitors so sometimes I am unaware my baby is awake and just
chatting to herself. Others I have tried I have been able to hear my babies
breathing if I hold patent unit to my ear, this one isn’t very sensitive. There
are much better monitors on the Market in my opinion for the same price or
less, they may be without the pad though but for me I didn’t like that feature.
Overall, its good but I wouldn’t buy or recommend as I found it to be too basic
for my needs.  Sarah

I would say this is one of the best I have seen out on the market so far.
