The book
looks very interesting and good quality. I thought the book was very good with
lots of interesting colourful illustrations.
This book did inspire my children to want to read more and the
illustrations were great. They love
knights and castles so got them interested from the first page. They both enjoyed the book and the story. They really enjoyed seeing what happened
next. Good value because my children
enjoyed this book. I would purchase and
would recommend. The book was very enjoyable to read and kept my children
interested all the way through and they reread it lots I would definitely

My daughter loves books and was very
interested by the pictures and colours of the front cover. The book is well
made, looks good and of high quality. She liked the colours and illustrations
which made her want to open it and read on. The front cover makes it very
enticing. There are lots of pictures and colours which helped her to
understand the story and read the words through picture word recognition. I
think the book was a bit long; interest was lost slightly towards the end. She
enjoyed the story when I read it but it was a bit long for her to read to me. Yes
this book is stimulating due to the amount of pictures and colours used were
good to keep her imagination going. A little long but loved the story, colours
and pictures. I believe this book offers good value for money as my eldest
child enjoyed it as well. Both my children enjoyed it and I think as their
confidence in reading grows they will continue to learn and read it for themselves.
I would recommend as I think most children would like this book. If it was
slightly shorter for her to give reading it ago herself it would get a 5. Very
good book, lovely story, great pictures and bright colours, could use again and

We weren’t particularly overwhelmed by the cover design. My daughter
was initially reluctant to read the book as she thought it looked ‘boring’ the
overall quality of the book was good. It was well written and engaging. The
print quality, type and illustrations were good. My daughter did not initially
want to read the book as she typically judged the book by its cover which she
thought looked ‘boring’. It did not inspire her until she read a bit of the
blurb. The illustrations in the book were good & helped make the book an
attractive & interesting read. Once she had read the first couple of pages
she did find the story an interesting read as soon as Rita became her
rescuer/heroine character. My daughter thought the story was great once she had
finished the book. She thought it was great how Rita could put on her cloak
& boots and change into a hero type character whose quick thinking saved
the day! I found this a good read that was appropriate for my daughter’s
current reading level. Whilst my daughter didn’t think this was the best book
she has read, she found the story fun and interesting. The vocabulary used was
age appropriate & suitable for her reading level. It is refreshing to see a
heroine character rather than a hero that we are often more used to. The RRP of
this book seems a little steep for the size of the book. Having seen that this
book is part of a series of adventures with the same character I would be
tempted to buy the books as I think it is good when children can get into
stories & understand characters but then read them in different adventures.
It was a great adventure story that lots of children would enjoy. Whilst not
initially overwhelmed by the cover design, the actual story was fun &
stimulating & well written. Rita Rides Again is a great adventure story
that is well written & keeps the reader interested due to the heroics of
Rita once she puts on her cloak & boots, and the fact that the people she
