The book was of excellent quality, lovely thick paper and easy to turn the pages. The artwork looked great, nice bright clear images without looking babyish. Great concept, teaching children their manners. My son commented on the front cover as he found the picture interesting. My son did enjoy this book as easy to read, clear understanding and funny little story.  Think my son is a little too young to fully understand the concept using the wording in the book however I did try to explain what was happening and he thought that the imps were naughty! Think my son is a little too young to fully understand the concept using the wording in the book however I did try to explain what was happening and he understood the need to say please and thank you and be kind. My son really enjoyed reading it and asked me to read it again.  The illustrations are beautiful bright and excellent quality. The illustrations did bring the story to life as they are nice and clear, not too babyish. My son did enjoy this book and he loved looking at the pictures and asking questions. We have read this book every week since it arrived. Excellent quality, nice thick pages and looks an all-round good quality book. This is good value as it’s relative in comparison with other children’s book prices today.  I realty thought this was great quality and loved the uniqueness of the book. My son loved the beautiful colourful pictures and rhyming words. I am now interested in looking at the other books in the series. I would recommend because it was a unique book of excellent quality and my son loved reading it.  Brilliant book, excellent quality and a lovely quirky story. My son loved listening to this as much as I loved reading it to him.  Brilliant book, excellent quality and a lovely quirky story. My son loved listening to this as much as I loved reading it to him. The book is very well made and might sound silly but it feels really nice, obviously good quality. I was super impressed. I love it, I really like being able to teach James using stories as he responds much better to them. This is a very nicely designed book and the quality is brilliant.  The front cover definitely made my son want to read the book. James loves this book, and he laughs at the Imps. He can’t read but he does now know the book off by heart and pretends to read it. James thinks the cheeky imps  are funny but naughty. James did understand why manners are important and the wand gets uses on us if we forget our manners. Loved the story, James wants to hear more and asks questions about what happens to them after. The illustrations are fantastic, the overall quality of the book is amazing. The illustrations are very good and using the words too. James likes it because they are naughty, even though he knows it’s not good he thinks it’s funny and in some strange reverse way accepts he shouldn’t copy them. If that makes sense. We have read this book several times a week and still read it now. I think the quality is amazing. It feels very well made and I love the feel of the paper. Definitely very good value for money. The story, a fun way to teach kids about manners. Too often manners are a subject that is negative. My son loved the Imps because they are mischievous. I would buy this book as super quality, great story and we both enjoy it. I have recommended it to some friends already. From the feel of the pages, to the illustrations, the story and the colourful appearance we love this book. A cute, funny story helping embed the concept of manners into small people. I love the use of large illustrated words instead of typed text, especially as my little one is starting to learn to recognise and spell out words. This book is also great to use to help him learn to recognise letters and sound them out because of this. Louise Lamb – James 4 Years

Looked fun, felt good quality and attractive front cover. To be honest I thought it was a bit strange. I like the idea of a book about teaching and reinforcing good manners but it was done in a very bizarre way. Front cover was nice and bright and looked fun. My daughter loved the pictures and thought the book was funny. Not really sure she understood the imps sneaking into the house and manners, maybe a bit young to get the concept. She liked the pictures and loved the wand but not sure she associated good manners with it. Just thought it was for magic!! I think she did enjoy the story but not one of her favourites.  The illustrations are excellent, funny bright characters. I guess the illustrations did enhance the story, Harriet certainly enjoyed looking at the pictures. I don’t think she really got the concept of the story but she enjoyed the characters , she actually thought they were cats and found them funny! We read it once a night for about 4 nights and then she didn’t want it anymore. The book is excellent quality, nice thick paper with great smooth feeling to the pages. It is quite an expensive book and not much to it. I really liked the quality and the illustrations. My daughter probably liked the bright characters. Personally I would not buy this as not really the kind of story I would pick up. we are quite strict on good manners and Harriet uses them well so don’t really feel the need to get a book to reinforce them. I would not recommend as I wasn’t overly impressed by the concept of the book and the way it was written. Great quality and pictures but not very well written or much of a story to it. Overall this product didn’t stand out for me, I had high hopes for it when it arrived and loved the front cover but the story didn’t meet my expectations.  Kate Cleverley – Harriet 2 Years 7 Months
