Looked like a lovely gift. The box contained lovely items, looked good and included plate, bowl and cup. My children found all the items very easy to use. They both liked the design. both boys commented on the animals on each item and compared them against each item. Counting how many monkeys etc. We used this set every day. We used it for every meal. This was very easy to wipe clean. I must admit I do not normally look for dinner set which is made of bamboo, eco-friendly etc. We had the jungle design which is lovely and I am going to order the fairy one for my niece. it feels like a good quality item, especially when washing. Comes clean easily and feels like it won’t break easily. It really is good value and a lovely set to give as a gift. The boys liked having their own matching plates and bowls/cups and specifically asked for them at meal times. I will be ordering a set for my niece. I would recommend if they are looking for gifts for young children I think this set is good value for money and nice for the child. as a child’s dinnerware set it ticks all the boxes-looks good to the child, cleans well, doesn’t feel like it will break easily. Really liked this product, the twins were excited when they saw it and wanted to open it and have a drink straight away. They loved the jungle design and asked for their new plates/bowls at mealtimes. I liked them because they clean easily and are sturdy and they’ve all been dropped many times, inside and outside in the garden. As previously stated I am going to order the fairy one as a gift so I did very much like the product. Candice Kelly – Max & Alex 3 Years

The product was packaged and boxed very well. I think it is a great concept to have dinner wear that is made from a sustainable, non-plastic material. It is particularly positive that the product is for children which opens up conversations about using sustainable materials. All products are lightweight so can easily be used. The volume size of the cup is perfect for a toddler, the bowl and plate are also a good size for child potions. My little boy (3) loved the jungle design. We’ve counted and talked about the different animals and he has genuinely enjoyed the mealtimes we’ve had with this dinner wear. We use at least one part of the set most days. We have used the set both in and out of doors but we eat more often inside. We use it as any other plate, bowl or cup. I was initially concerned about how the product may wash but we’ve put it in the dishwasher lots of time’s now and it is still in the condition it was when we unboxed it. It is important to me an item is eco-friendly etc., as I think it’s important to understand the life cycle of products from a young age. The design options were all lovely. I’d love to see more variation and would also be interested in other products. Perhaps outdoor dinner sets for adults too. The product has been used a lot and is wearing well. The design is fun and looks great. The price is comparable to other, similar products. I love that it is made with bamboo and corn but doesn’t lack in usability and durability. It also takes just a little bit of plastic out of my kitchen which is great. I would buy this as I would like to find the same product with different designs to keep some variation and conversation for snacks and mealtimes. I would recommend for all the reasons above. It’s a quality product with fun designs for kids that offers not only a tool to discuss sustainability but to help make meal times fun for kids. I’ve certainly used the monkeys when (like many parents) trying to get my 3 year old to have ‘just one more mouthful’ and I welcome any product that can help me there. Louise Hall – Harrison 3 Years

The set was bigger than I had anticipated and very well packaged. I loved the concept and am all against unnecessary waste. i really like the idea that it is eco-friendly and biodegradable. contents were bigger then i had expected but this was great. quality felt very good and sturdy too. My son (and daughter, aged 7) both found the set easy to use; big enough for them to fill with food and water and plate and bowl was spacious enough to avoid food spillages. very light weight too so was easy for them both to be independent enough to get the bowls and plates themselves from the cupboards. there were 3 designs to choose from and i chose the jungle one as i thought out of the 3 that were on offer, this was best suited to my son (he’s not into fairies or teddys so jungle it was!). My son was not overly excited with the design, if anything he found it to be rather babyish. Would use this at least once a week, or twice a week at most. used at home, mainly for either lunch or dinner time. don’t recall using it for breakfast yet. very easy to clean but i can imagine that the colour will eventually fade with more use as it is made from biodegradable materials. It is important because it will make my children learn more about the environment and how using a product like this can help reduce more waste from going to landfills. i will be getting them to pot this set with our compost when it is time to. i thought the range offered online was very limited, and a little dated. i would have liked to see more options in terms of designs such as dinosaurs or unicorns and maybe bowls or plates that were not of the normal circular form; square, star or even heart shaped would have made the set more appealing to the younger children. the quality of the set was really good, strong, sturdy and lightweight but because of its biodegradable features, I can imagine the colours will fade more easily than normal plastic sets. i thought £12 was an acceptable pricing for the set but having a look online, there were others that offered 5 piece sets for that pricing. I really liked that it was bigger than i was expecting it to be and i like that it is biodegradable. i would consider buying this for a friend who has a much younger child- i think this is best suited to children who are just starting the food weaning phase as i felt this was a bit too you babyish for my 4 soon to be 5 year old. I would recommend as I have friends who are very conscious of the types of products that they buy to use for their children and how it has an effect on the environment too, although I’m sure that they are very aware of products like this already. Not full marks from me and this is just based on the lack of styles available online. in conclusion, this is a great product. the concept and sizing of the set were brilliant although i do feel that more emphasis could be put into their design via market research.
