It was clearly branded with the yellow of Weleda so I knew it would be good quality. I like the fact that it uses natural products to clean the skin. The instructions were very easy to understand, once I found them! They were hidden behind the label on the rear of the bottle. I really liked the design of the bottle as it fits in the grip of your hand perfectly. Very easy to use, you just held the bottle and gently squeezed, and the right amount came out. This was lovely and gentle to use on my son. It cleaned normal skin well but for ingrained mud and dirt I had to switch to soap. Using this my sons skin did feel much nicer after using and not so dry. I really liked the smell as it was lovely light and citrusy. I would use this 3 times per week. I like the smell, but most of all that it was 100% natural. It is average value for money, not great. I would like to be able to keep this bottle size by the bath, but also buy a larger, better value for money, refill to top up with. Great quality natural product as you would expect from Weleda. I think all packaging should be recyclable these days. Loved that this is NATRUE certified as it means I’m happy to use it on my child. I probably wouldn’t buy it at full price point, but at the lower price that its sometimes offered at pharmacies etc, then I would. I would recommend, not all would be interested, but I have several friends that definitely prefer natural products. Not full marks from me due to value for money and size of the bottle. A really nice product in an ergonomic bottle. Easy to use, with a great aroma and gentle on my sons skin. I would be more than happy to use this again. Amanda Hayes – Ethan 8 Years

Hannah Awarded The Weleda Calendula Cream Bath 4.5/5
It is a nice design of bottle. It’s a good concept, similar to bath oil which I like to use. Instructions very simple and easy to follow. Really like the bottle design. This was extremely easy to use. This was mild and gentle and we had no problems using this and not rashes. This was a very effective cream bath and cleaned well. After use my daughters skin was really nice and soft. I did not like the smell as much as our bubble bath, it was a little strange to smell. I would use this every few days. I loved the way her skin felt soft after her bath. For us this is good value for money. The quality is very good. I was very pleased to know the bottle is recyclable and also made from recycled plastic. I was not award of the NATRUE certified natural so would not be something I would look for. I would buy this as it works well and is a decent price. I would also recommend for the same reasons. Lovely product, easy to use. Left Clara’s skin feeling nice and soft. Did have a bit of a funny smell and made the bath a milky colour which was a little different to what we are used. Hannah – Clara 2 Years

Clean bottle, little smaller than I had pictured, Fresh colours as white with yellow wording/pictures/images. Love the idea as little boys skin can get quite dry in patches and not overly crazy about the idea of using too much on his skin as it can make the patches worse. Says 2 or 3 of splashes but not totally sure what splashes are? Felt like I put too much in the first time I used it. Basic instructions fine just that part I wasn’t happy with. Sleek bottle, easy to open and squeeze, clean and fresh design to the label. It is clear and easy to use. Easy to use but as said earlier wasn’t sure what constitutes a splash so not sure if I put too much in the bath or not enough in the bath. This was very gentle on my son’s skin, it didn’t make his dry patches any worse and his skin felt lovely after use. He was clean and fresh after his baths. His skin was lovely and soft after use and it did help some of his dry patches. He was extra soft and cuddly afterwards. I was not a fan of the smell, not sure why but it wasn’t for me. If picking in shop it is one I wouldn’t have gone for. It wasn’t offensive at all but just not a smell I particularly liked. I would use twice a week for each bath. Liked how it made his skin, nice and soft, almost like he was when he was first born. Little expensive for the size of the bottle, especially as the measure for the amount is ambiguous so it wouldn’t necessarily last as long as it could if used too much per bath. It is a high quality product, no nasty residues were left in the bath or on my son. We are trying to recycle as much as we can and always feel guilty when throwing plastic in rubbish bin, so this helps both parts of the guilt. Better to have something natural if at all possible. I personally would not buy this just based on not liking the smell. I would recommend if it was a smell they would like, the product itself is lovely. It was effective at keeping my sons skin soft and smooth but didn’t like the smell so for me this is an off put. Very easy to use (amount to use I’m not sure about) it did exactly what it was meant to do for my son, it didn’t leave any residue on the bath. Made the water cloudy white (hence not sure if I was using too much) didn’t seem to effect my sons eyes when he was being washed, he can be quite sensitive when having his hair washed to water and soap going over his face and into his eyes.
