When the Weleda nipple balm arrived I
was intrigued to see what it was like having never heard of it before and only
ever using 1 other brand while feeding my first child. I felt that
although the balm did not stand out to me it could looklike more of a
natural product with its light colours. The package is simple and says what it
does on the box letting you know it’s organic and 100% natural. The box doesn’t
stand out due to its light colouring but I think you would pick it up and have
a look especially with the information that’s provided. The instructions are
simple to follow and are provided on the box as well as on the tube. I think the concept is great,
having a 100% natural product is just what you what especially when it involves
your children and something that will defiantly be going into their
months. The simple thin tube is easy to unscrew,the ingredients are
on the tube as well as the instructions also. The nipple balm is easy to get
out and is not sticky it is also easy to put on. So for those of you who have
sore nipples at the moment it’s a big bonus! The consistency is just like
a thin lotion so is quite pleasant and smoothes on easily. I find Weleda has a
slight fragrance but nothing over powering maybe the smell is one of the oils
that are in its ingredients. Weleda is really easy to use; the balm spreads on
easy and cools right away which as anyone who has sore nipples knows is great. The
balm seemed to absorb quickly. I have been ok not really having sore or
cracked nipples but have been using the balm to help prevent this from
happening. The balm cools instantly so I believe this would help.To me it
is really important you don’t have to wipe the balm off. Can you even imagine
having to wipe a balm off if you had sore nipples?! Oww! Not to mention early
on in feeding when you’re really sleep deprived having to remember to remove
then panicking….did I wipe it off? Again this is important knowing that
it is natural it’s great to not expose yourself or baby to something that is
not natural. I did not use the balm for anything else. I think overall the
quality of this balm is to a really high standard. For the price knowing its all natural I think the price is good
plus if it works for you then there is no price you would not pay to not have
sore nipples! I like that the balm is made with natural ingredients and
that it is not sticky. I would purchase because it is natural, spreads easy and
is not sticky. Some nipple balms work
better than others for different people I would say they should give it a go. I
would recommend because of it being natural, non-sticky and spreading easy. This
nipple balm is easy to use, it smoothes on easy with its lotion like
consistency, it instantly cools and all without having to use a lot and is not
sticky. All a big bonus if you have sore or cracked nipples! Overall my experience has been a good one and
I would recommend this to other mum’s especially if you are at the start of
breastfeeding as this in my experience is one of the most difficult times. I
had never heard of Weleda before receiving this balm but now seeing that all
it’s ingredients are natural I would definitely consider looking at their other
products as well as buying this balm. Vicki

It was well
packaged and I liked the colour of the tube. It also had a helpful information
sheet about the product. An instruction
sheet was provided with the product explaining the concept and uses. They were
simple and easy to use. A godsend for breastfeeding mothers,
especially those just starting their journey. Good natural product. Nice size
tube for use at home or fitting in your bag. Easy to use and balm comes out
easily. Really nice consistency, feels
nice on the skin, not too sticky or gloopy. Glides on really easily. Very
easy to use, nice tube and easy to apply. Absorbed pretty quickly although did
have to leave to fully absorb before dressing. I had patches of dry skin which
healed rapidly after a couple of uses. Also good for cracked skin on other
areas of body, especially hands! Very important to me this does not need to be
wiped off, too much faff for sleep deprived women to remember to wash off! Very
important it is natural as in regular contact with baby and only want the best
for them. I found this was also really good for chapped hands and lips. Really nice quality feels smooth to apply and
has a nice fragrance. A small amount goes a very long way; one
tube would last a long time. I really liked the quality and how easy it was to
use. I would purchase for all the reasons listed above. I would recommend to any breastfeeding mum as
much nicer than other products on the market. Lovely product that I wouldn’t
change any element of. Found I really enjoyed

My initial
thoughts on the product were that it looked a lot like other similar products
on the market. I did however like that it was all natural and didn’t need to be
wiped off before feeding.Packaging was simple, pleasant to look
at and straight forward for application. Very simple instructions for how to use
simply squeeze the amount needed and apply to nipples as and when required.The concept of the product is a very
simple one but much needed…. nipple balm is not something I thought about
when pregnant with my first but I soon learned that it is a must have product
when breastfeeding. This particular brand stands out as it is all natural which
is nice. The tube was
sleek and extremely easy to use, don’t squeeze too hard though as the product
is slightly thinner that other balms on the market and came out quite
quickly. The balm was
definitely a runnier consistency to other balms on the market… I personally
preferred a thicker consistency but that is just a personal preference.The balm itself is very easy to use,
just apply the required amount directly to nipples and you are good to
go! This is where the
thinner consistency was an advantage, it definitely helped the balm absorb
quicker than other thicker balms! The balm provided some relief but I found that as my nipples were quite
badly damaged it wasn’t enough on its own. I love that this
doesn’t need to be wiped off before feeding, I have quite a demanding baby and
I wouldn’t want to make her wait longer for a feed while I remove product from
my nipples. I think that the product being natural is very reassuring
especially since it goes in babies’ mouth (on your nipples while you nurse). There is no doubt that this balm is made of
quality natural ingredients. I always find nipple balms are on the
pricey side but they are definitely worth the money. I liked that this balm was certified all natural;
it made me feel better about not wiping it off before nursing. I found this product made quite a good lip
balm for dry lips! And could be used as a barrier cream during nappy changes in
a pinch! I would consider
buying this balm but only if my first choice was unavailable at the time. I
liked the balm but felt that it wasn’t quite as good as another (well known)
brand. I would recommendespecially if they are interested in all natural products. It was a nice balm and I loved the fact it
was all natural. I just found that because of the extent of the damage I
experienced I needed something just a bit thicker and more moisturising. Gina
