What a Performance Board Game Reviews

When this product arrived I had the impression that this would be a fun game that would be appealing to my children. I think the concept of this game is great – it’s a bit like charades for kids but a whole lot more fun! We had no trouble using the instructions – I felt they were quite child-friendly as well. I think many children the same age as mine or younger would struggle to play the game without adult supervision – in terms of following all the rules and procedures correctly. I think with more practice they would be able to play the game independently. My children certainly fully grasped the concept of the game. I thought the equipment for the game was great quality and easy to assemble. I liked the fact that the box is sturdy and has a carry handle. My children LOVED playing this game! I think it was particularly appealing for them to see their mum performing silly activities! My children had an amazing time completing all the fun challenges. They particularly liked the activities that everyone had to perform together and got quite excited about this! The decoder was a fab, fun feature of the game. They were quite happy to receive a forfeit as it meant that they could use the decoder. My children did not get chance to play the game with friends during the testing period but I imagine the game would go down a storm with a group of children. We played the game as a family and it really was a refreshing change to the usual screen time that we are all guilty of having too much of! Adults and children alike thoroughly enjoyed the game. We played this game a few times – not as much as would have liked due to the busy time of the year. With three of us, I found the game lasted around half an hour which was not too long and not too short. I did find that my children were very keen to repeat playing the game. This game definitely kept my children entertained. I think that the variety of tasks involved kept them stimulated. I think this game can be played by all ages but I feel it would be most appropriate for primary school age children. The game retails at a price that I would expect for a decent quality board game. As it kept my children occupied and entertained this definitely counts as value for money in my opinion. The feature that I most liked about this game was the variety of tasks that the players have to perform. I love the fact that players have to get up and move about – there is definitely a physical exercise element to this game. I also like the fact that this game really encourages the use of a child’s imagination. Whilst the focus is on fun, I do think this game is educational – particularly for younger children. I also liked the fact that all the forfeits weren’t negative, sometimes you get a pleasant surprise! I would consider buying this game because of the positive feedback I received from my children. I would definitely recommend this game to family and friends with children of primary school age. I think it would be a great Christmas present for anyone stuck for ideas. I can’t really fault this game. I would say it takes a few goes to get into the swing of things and to learn the rules and different elements of the game, but that is the case for many board games, so isn’t a criticism. Overall I would say this is a really fun game that is likely to have the whole family in fits of laughter. It gets children both thinking and moving whilst enabling them to act silly and have loads of fun. Loved it! Elaine Kalo – Harry & Annie 8 & 7 Years

My first impression was that the game looked fun, easy to follow, simple family fun and not to complex. A simple, easy to follow game, that looked like good old fashioned fun, not too many rules and very family friendly. Instructions were easy to follow, child friendly, clear and not too complicated. My child followed this game really well, picking it up straight away with no confusion or mistakes and she enjoyed every minute of it. Everything was made really good quality, build to last and stand the test of time with children.  She absolutely loved playing this game, watching her Dad have to do star jumps in the middle of the Livingroom and getting the whole family to have to catwalk around the kitchen together was a lovely memory and she was laughing her head off!!  She loved the challenges so much, she was getting everybody up, everybody had to complete the challenge and as a family we have not laughed like that in a long time. The challenges were so simple but had so much entertainment in them and were well thought out.  She loved using this so much and wanted to decode everyone when the dice landed when she could use it. A fun addition to the game. My daughter only played this with family.  The whole family played and it was so enjoyable, fun and simple but gets you doing things as a family that make memories that will last forever. We played this game every Sunday after dinner. Very much so, she said it was the best game she has ever played and she has A LOT of board games. I think it was the concept and fun of getting all the family together doing silly things and dong them together. It’s a great game for all ages but I’m not sure that I could get my daughters granddad up jumping around like a frog but you never know with this game. Really great value as a very well made, simple, long lasting and family fun game that will create memories to last forever. I loved the challenges, funny, simple and so much fun. I would buy this.  I’m already thinking of buying it for my best friend’s family.  I’ve already told my friends at the school about this game and the funny things I got to see my partner doing. Simple, well made, good family fun, great addition with the decoder, will last a long time and soon will be a family favourite in all households. Lyn Shephard – Frankie 8 years

Bright and eye catching box I also like that the box in 100% recyclable.  We really like the concept of this game. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. She found it easy to play and understand, some of the challenges are harder than others but that’s what we like about it. If it was all easy she wouldn’t learn from playing. The game is very bright and very good quality. The only thing we had any problem with was putting the characters onto the plastic stands, I damaged one slightly.  We love the card holder to keep all the cards together during play this is a great idea.  Jemma loved this game.  She found the challenges to be good fun.  Jemma loved the magic decoder.  Not played with friends yet, but sure she will in the future.  We played the game as a family and it was great fun love that we can go into teams and us adults had just as much fun as the kids. We have played it a few times as a family and daughter is looking forward to playing it with her cousins when they come to visit.  It kept the kids and adults entertained. It’s suitable for age 5 to adults as we definitely enjoyed it as much as Jemma. This game is great value for money and looks like we will get years of fun out of it. I loved that it got the whole family together even with the big difference in age and we were all laughing together. I would buy it for a gift for nephew.  I would recommend as its great family fun. We give this game a 5 out of 5 and it great quality and lots of fun. Love that it got us all laughing together; it has us moving around and enjoyed the variety of tasks.   Irene Gilmour – Jemma 10 years
