Eye catching and entertaining book for young
children… With lovely illustrations.My daughter was eager to find where
Charlie dog was hiding. The story is simple easy to read. With rhyming on every
other page.My daughter did enjoy the story and requested to read it
on many occasion. The illustrations were very good. Simple sentences to
encourage early reading and illustrations to match. A good quality book. I’d definitely consider buying another book
from Sue Pavey. Good value, but at higher end of cost bracket for similar books. I would definitely purchase this book if did
not have it already. I would
recommend. Lovely rhyming flow.
Encourages our youngster to read out. Last page is a nice interactive touch,

I find this
book to be brilliant for my child. The sentences were short and the use of full
size pictures was a good idea as it involved my son is asking questions. I find
the design of the front cover of the book is simple. The use of font is quite
nice and the two colours used are attractive in itself. My child is very fond
of dogs, and when he saw the front cover he was extremely excited to open the
book and explore through the, pages. The content of the story is nice. It
allows the child to get involved in reading and finding the dog. My child was
quite concerned that the dog was not being found. My child loved the story and
enjoyed me reading to them. My child wanted me to read this many.times. I have
to say that I loved the illustrations throughout the story. The leaves on the
trees and the bark on the trunks were very appealing. and that is coming from
an adult. I liked the fact that the book was quick to read though, the
sentences were short but nice, as well as rhyming. The quality of the book is
perfect. It’s easy for the child to hold and turn the pages. Would definitely
purchase another book by this author. Certainly good value. Having been able to test this book. I would definitely,
consider buying this. Would certainly recommend. I really enjoyed reading this book to my child, and he enjoyed listening
and helping to find him. I particularly liked the real effects of the leaves

We are a dog
mad family so the front cover was very appealing and my daughter could not wait
to read the book. The story is engaging and entertaining and a nice story
written well and my daughter loved the rhyming aspect. This certainly appealed to Jodie and we would
read it each week. One of her top books
now. The illustrations are lovely and really add to the telling of the story. I
really liked the easy to read sentences and rhyming as helped and encouraged
Jodie to read words and ask questions. A
nice quality book that will be kept and read many more times. After reading this book I would definitely
keep eye out for other books from Sue Pavey. Personally feel the book is a bit
pricey but worth spending extra. I have
already recommended this book. A really
lovely story, engaging and interactive and my daughter just loved her Charlie
