Pewi is a new innovative “Walking Buddy/Ride-on for the toddler market”. Beginning as young as 9 months Pewi is the coolest, sleekest walker around. However, unlike traditional Walkers on the market where the child is typically sitting in the walker the Pewi actually enhances body and space awareness. In a traditional walker a child does not learn to fall as he or she typically just sits or hangs in the unit. With the Pewi the Child stands freely in front of Pewi using it only as an aid. They can easily let go of Pewi and sit on the ground or knock other items themselves. This freedom of movement at a young age has proven to stimulate body in space awareness a key for balance and motor skill development.

The packaging was good when it first arrived. It kept Franks’ attention, and stimulated his imagination. It is a great quality product which offers value for money. I would consider buying it if I didn’t have one. All of my friends commented on it, the kids loved it, it is a great toy and would definitely recommend! A very good toy, much better than your usual ride along toys! Gemma Smith – Frank 23 months

The look of the packaging was nice but seemed like a lot of building to do of the bike. The box was nice and was a good size. If you play with her on the bike it keeps her attention a lot longer then if she was playing with it by herself. Matilda was already walking when we received the bike but she does use the bike in both ways that it is intended. It has helped her balance by sitting on the bike and her using her feet to push herself around. She does enjoy playing with it and will keep her attention a lot longer if we play with her whilst she is using it. She only plays with the bike in the 2 ways it was intended. The quality is good and is well designed. I would say that I think the bike is a little expensive especially for the age group it is intended for. They grow very quickly at that age and then lose interested with a product very quickly and stop using it. I don’t think I would buy this product mainly due to the price. We have told family members about the bike and how fun it is to push the girls around on but I think I wouldn’t recommend to others due to the price. Overall the product is good, well designed and nice to use with Matilda but I think the price and the assembly lets the product down. We did struggle slightly putting the bike together and found the instructions a little confusing. Natalie Kavanagh – Matilda 14 months

Seemed good quality and well made. The instructions and packaging showed the product clearly and gave details of the other products in the range and important safety information. Although the product is recommended as a ride on for ages 12 to 36 months my 20 month old could only just reach the floor as and such lost interest quite quickly. Despite being over the recommended age range my 4 year old loved the bike and enjoyed speeding up and down the lounge and sliding sideways into imaginary parking spaces on it. I will only allow the child to use as a ride on once their legs are long enough to reach the floor comfortably. By this time they will have learnt those skills on other ride ons. We were unable to test the product as a walker as my son was too young and no longer had any interest in them. My 4 year old has enjoyed this product very much and the two of them have been known to fight over it. Solidly made and easy to put together. The only issue we have found is that the screw cover on the seat can easy be prised out by curious little fingers. It would possibly be better value for money for younger children who would also use it as a walker. However, other ride on products have proved more popular with the children and easier to use. Very fun product for older children but there is a gap in usage between about age 18 to 24 months where the child no longer wants to use a walker but cannot safely use the product as a ride on.
